I've seen "Gibbs should be fired!" "Brunell should go" "Gibbs running ancient football" YADA YADA YADA!

First of all Gibbs is NOT THE PROBLEM! He doesn't even call the plays. Al Saunders is the problem. We had the 11th ranked offense last year and only missed depth at WR. We did not need Saunders. Saunders needs to go.

If Gibb's offense is so ancient, tell me why everybody was singing his praises last year for opening up to todays football. Hell we went from near last to right outside the top 10.

Brunell is a problem but not the big problem. He is timid and is too quick to get rid of the ball(most of it the O-lines fault, for whatever reason they seem to not be able to pass block) but BRUNELL CAN'T GO DEEP UNLESS IT IS CALLED. The STUPID dink and dunk passes Saunders calls are nobody put SAUNDERS' FAULT!

Injuries are KILLING us on D. If we would have had the D we had last year or the year before we would be fine this year.

Last but not least the BIGGEST problem since 1998 is Snyder's RETARDED free wheeling spending and mind blowing handouts of draft picks. Is free angency bad? No. Is building your team through it bad? No. Is drastically changing your team through it WHILE throwing your draft picks away to other teams bad? YES! Why do you think our defense sucks? We have NO DEPTH! We need to keep most of our picks instead of throwing them away. Until we learn this we will be VERY HARD pressed to win anything.

All of that said. It is time to bring in Campbell and prepare for the future. This year is over with. I want to see what the future will be like.

We have to many layers of management.

We have how many Associate head coaches of offense or defense, we have how many assistant coaches, how many different position coaches.

As the saying goes to many chefs in the kitchen.

IMHO, bringing in Saunders was a huge mistake.

I will agree with you on all of that. Probably the best and most well said, I think you speak for a lot of us.

It a def time for Campbell as you stated, hopefully the O line can block for him.

I stopped reading after you blamed Al Saunders part.. sorry but you're wrong still.. I'm gonna paraphrase what B Mitch said in the post game show, which makes sense..

Who is it that brought in Al Saunders in the first place? Joe Gibbs.. He brought Al Saunders here to make plays, but how can he if Joe Gibbs is limiting his playcalling? Yes, Joe Gibbs is the reason why the offense won't click yet. He keeps Brunell in when Todd Collins knows the offense, that's Joe Gibbs... Al Saunders in KC never ran or threw short passes on 3rd and long neither did they attempt the longball only once a game but rather 5-6 times a game...

Sorry but Joe Gibbs is the reason for all of this, as he is the President of Operations making all the wrong decisions, such as bringing in Saunders in the first place and literally quitting on the team when he did that... now bring on the excuses

Brunell can't throw deep because it's not called???? Come on man, you can't see on TV what goes on downfield, when I have attended the games he isn't able to make progressions in the pass game, it's the number 1 option, and then the dump off, and most always a dump off. I am sick of people supporting this man.

FYI- Saunders isn't the one throwing the check downs. The deep routes are there and they are being called, Brunell's just not pulling the trigger.

    yes....saunders is the problem.

The guy that has put up great offenses year in, year out. Yeah, that person is the problem. Have you actually followed his offense?

His offense is not dink and dunk, he spreads the ball, just look at the Rams and the Chiefs. It's obvious that the offense is adjusted for Brunell's strengths or some may say weakness.

the real problem is personnel. the Redskins don't have a true GM and that has caused us to make some moves for players that have turned out to be busts. it has also caused us to overspend for some players where there were other players available who as it turned out have played just as well for other teams.

Joe Gibbs won 3 Super Bowls but he wasn't the GM for any of those teams. Beathard and his front office staff were the ones that brought in the Joe Jacobys, Russ Grimms, Art Monks, Darrell Greens, etc.

There was no guarantee with Gibbs coming back that this would work precisely because he had no experience as a GM and Dan Snyder refused to do more than retain Vinny Cerrato to be the director of player personnel.

Its called depth. We just don't have it.

I agree with this but Gibbs, Vinny and the rest of coaches are the ones who bring the players in. Its up to them to choose the people and to choose how they go about acquiring said players.

I agree with you here. Its time to see what where working with for the the future.

Well, Gibbs made the decision to bring in Saunders, so if Saunders is killing the team, then Gibbs is to blame. He wasn't forced to make that decision.

Also, Gibbs stated in his press conference that he's the guy to blame. Nothing wrong with having the opinion that Gibbs isn't to blame, but Gibbs himself isn't even buying that one.

News Flash! The Washington Redskins officially have lost all hope for the 2006-2007 season. Their aging, noodle armed, happy feet quarterback finally destroyed all remaining hope for this season. Unable to score a single touchdown, again, somehow keeps his starting job against all odds. Is their any other business that would let someone with no ability or skills remain on the payroll? Only the Washington Redskins, and Joe Gibbs. He really believes he is a super smart, super duper man. Really.
