    I just hope we never, ever wear any type of throwback again. Wearing throwbacks is basically a guaranteed loss for this team.

    Well, considering the Redskins recent record in primetime games and their all time record wearing throwback jerseys I think they made the right choice. In fact, I can't seem to ever recall the Skins winning a game while wearing any kind of throwback jerseys. The only primetime game the Skins have won in the past 5 years was the Sunday Night season opener against Dallas in 2010.

    It's funny...if you really look at it, I would bet we have a wretched record in throwbacks.

    We wore them in 1994 (not sure if it was every game or not) and finished the season 3-13 so I assume we were pretty bad in them.
    We wore them on and off in 2002 and finished 7-9 (not horrible).
    We wore them in a loss against the Giants in 2007.
    We wore them in a loss against the Panthers earlier this year.

    Oh well, I'm sure there's nothing to it, but it's interesting.

    The gold pants have definitely grown on me and I really like them now but I just love the white top/burgundy pants combo. It looks great. I would even be in favor of just gold and burgundy pants, no white even though I do love them. That way we would have a touch of the past in the gold pants but also the current and Gibbs era burgundy pants. Best of both worlds.

    Im getting ready to turn 38 years old and the white/burgundy is all I ever watched them play in.These days it just does'nt even feel like im watching the redskins play b/c of the gold pants.I'll always be a white/burgundy skins fan b/c like I said thats all I ever seen them wear.

    Yup. Best uniform in football.

    It was cool at first, but after three years, I'm getting kind of tired of the burgundy jersey/gold pants combo.
