Actually you're wrong with the final number. We ended up at +43 in turnover margin (most people in here believe it was +42) which is still an NFL record that may not be broken. The Bears forced 44 TO's. Compare that to +43.Originally Posted by radagast5
We actually had 4 INT's and 1 fumble lost against the NYG in that last game and they had 1 INT and 3 fumbles lost, so we were only -1. We still won 31-22.

Riggins in '83 set the consecutive TD streak when he went 13 straight games with a TD. I don't believe that record has been broken as of yet.
i thought i heard that LT broke that record this year...or maybe it was most consecutive games with multi-TDs, or 100+ yards. forget which, but I know it was Riggins record that LT broke.Originally Posted by Redskins4Life

No i believe it was most touchdowns in a season.
I'm pretty sure he got that record and the most consecutive games with a touchdown run.Originally Posted by Veretax
No Lenny Moore held the record of 16 consecutive until LT broke it. Riggins never had the consecutive games with a TD, but he had the most in a season (24) until Emmitt, Alexander and LT broke it.Originally Posted by jps36

This is what I found at Wikipedia. Maybe Riggins had a RUSHING TD in 12 consecutive games.Originally Posted by Redskins4Life

After being injured in the 1963 season and losing his starting job, Moore had one of his best statistical seasons in 1964 when he scored 20 touchdowns and was named NFL Comeback Player of the Year, and helped lead the Colts to a 12-2 regular-season record and a trip to the NFL championship game for the third time in seven seasons.
Moore scored a touchdown in an NFL-record 18 consecutive games starting in 1963 and continuing through the entire 1964 season, ending in 1965. This record stood for 40 years until being equaled by LaDainian Tomlinson in 2005.

Do Art Monk's records count even though some of them were set after '91, since most of his records were set during that period? I am thinking specifically of his receptions and consecutive games with a reception record here. There may be others?
Same question for a couple of Darrell Green's records. Do they count? He had 19 consecutive seasons with an INT, a record that may never be broken. He is also tied with Jackie slater for the most seasons with one team, 20, another record that may never be broken. Also, I believe that Green, Jerry Rice, and Bruce Matthews were all close on the most non-kicker games-played record. As an aside, these facts constitute a good argument for putting Green in the Hall of Fame, especially the latter fact, since Rice and Matthews are both Hall of Famers.

The press asked a Redskins executive about the salary cap penalty and the executive responded, "Ask John Mara." So the press asked Mara and he said, “What they did was in violation of the spirit of the salary cap. "
Oh I see now, even though there was no actual salary cap in 2010 according to the CBA, the "spirit" of the salary cap still existed. Thanks for clearing that up Mara.
I'm not sure if it's still the record, but in 1988 Jamie Morris did set the single game record for most carries in a game with 45 against the Bengals.
The '83 Skins surely would still have the record for most points scored if Moseley had been anywhere near as successful as he had been in '82. The Vikings Gary Anderson was perfect in '98. In '83 Moseley missed like 16 attempts in the regular season.
While we're on records broken, lets not forget Brunell going 22-22 at Houston this year. If this doesn't make him a first-ballot HOF, I personally will lead the protest for #8!!![]()
