Actually you're wrong with the final number. We ended up at +43 in turnover margin (most people in here believe it was +42) which is still an NFL record that may not be broken. The Bears forced 44 TO's. Compare that to +43.

We actually had 4 INT's and 1 fumble lost against the NYG in that last game and they had 1 INT and 3 fumbles lost, so we were only -1. We still won 31-22.

Interestingly, the only games where we had a negative turnover ratio, against Dallas in the opener and the Raiders in the Super Bowl, we lost. Including playoffs, we were +45 in turnover margin

You're thinking of the largest average margin of victory for the REGULAR season which does still stand.

In the post season that year we won by 17, 31 and 13...which is good but not a record...one right off hand is that the Bears in 85. won by 23, 20 and 36...not sure if that is the record but I know the Skins don't have it.

But the average margin for the regular season ahs the Skins at #1 all time
