Are you talking about potentially trading one of our stud RBs for Adalius Thomas?

You're quite welcome. Mine is set also. I am very curious as to who they think we should pick.

You didn't happen to hear about the JL thing, did ya? I would love for all of the trade guru's here to start coming up with their "trade Betts, bring in Lewis" scenarios.

I don't wanna see none of that "trade Portis" stuff though.

Na, I never come up with trade ideas...I just like reading others.

Some of them get damn entertaining.

I hear that. Well, I'm sure we're going to hear some ridiculous nonsense anytime now....care to place a wager on which page the first "Trade Portis" comment ends up on?

Thanks for the info about the show. Lewis would be a back that Gibbs likes and I wouldn't be a bit surprise if they brought him in for a workout. But not enough room for another back.

It's not ridiculous but we've already got one.

Lewis is a back that you would like to fantasize about being in a Joe Gibbs backfield. Wait, is it even a Joe Gibbs backfield anymore? I'm so confused.

Yes we do. I hope an RB associated with cocaine isn't a Joe Gibbs back...if so, ol' Joe has done a complete 180.

dont know if they applies to this thread but i was wondering if you all would oppose in signing a unknown rb to be the #3rd rb and allow rock to handle kickoffs fulltime? maybe a undraft freeagent as our 3rd rb or continue to use rock as the 3rd

Not at all. I think that that would be a great idea if we don't break the bank signing a CB, LB or G.

IMO there are great alternatives out there at the CB position that wouldn't leave us busted and we could possibly look into implementing your idea.

I remember not being real thrilled with the idea of Rock returning kicks for us. In fact, when I first saw him back there against the Vikings, the first words out of my mouth was "WTF?" But once again I was reminded to leave all of the decisions to the people on the team that get paid to make them. Because Rock lit the field up in 06 returning kicks.

It'll probably be about 2 minutes of 'whichever high pick does best at the combine', and then 20 minutes of slow head shaking and muttering about poor decision making. Can't argue with that, either.

If Lewis is released, the Redskins would make a great home for him. He wouldn't even need to change Parole Officers.

There was a thread last season about Ray Lewis coming here.
