Best Team Draft
How about the Steelers 74 draft, includes 4 Hall of Famers
1 (21, 21) - Lynn Swann, USC
2 (20, 46) - Jack Lambert, Kent State
4 (4, 82) - John Stallworth, Alabama A&M
5 (21, 125) - Mike Webster, Wisconsin
Wow, 4 HOFers in one draft. Unbelievable.Originally Posted by ukskinsfan

I can't contribute too much as I'm not up on my draft history. Sorry.

Some people are arguing that the 2006 draft was one of the deepest in recent memory. But considering this was only a year ago, one can't really say if this was until years down the round, when Young, Leinart, Cutler, and the others are nearing the end of their careers.
2004 was a pretty good as far as a recent draft goes...Everybody drafted in the top 15 turned into big time players with the exception of Robert Gallery and Reggie Williams...also guys like Jared Allen, Bob Sanders, Nathan Vasher, Michael Boulware, Tank Johnson, Jake Scott, and Chris Cooley were found in the later rounds. Stephen Jackson was drafted late in the first...how's this for a top 10, Eli Manning, Gallery(sucked), Larry Fitzgerald, Philip Rivers, Sean Taylor, Kellen Winslow, Roy Williams(lions), Deangelo Hall, Reggie Williams(decent), and Dunta Robinson.
I think that's been the best draft we've seen in a while.

Sorry I was skipping around kind of randomly and focused on the top 15 more than anything. I really should have focused on the top 16 huh. Andrews has been a beast though, not gonna lie, he broke his leg his rookie year against the Skins which was tough. But he came back and had a good year and then a great year. But don't forget about Shane Olivea out in San Diego, he's been pretty good and he was a 7th rounder. This draft was really deep and had one of the best 1st rounds in terms of talent that i've seen in a while.Originally Posted by OWUeagleMD

We drafted Quinn Buckner in 1976? He is better known for being a basketball player.
Did we trade picks back then or what? Good ole George Allen...lol
