Concacaf Champions Cup..

I don't know how many of you know but D.C. United is involved in this Cup where the best club teams from the Concacaf region face each other. I'm not too sure on the details but the winner of the whole tourney goes to Japan to face off the best club teams in the world. I may be wrong. Anyways United is in the semifinals and will be facing Guadalajara (club team from Mexico). The first of the two games will be March 15th at RFK Stadium. The second game will be in Mexico in April. D.C. United beat Olimpia (Honduras) with the agregate score being 7-3. I'll be at the game because my dad loves the club team from Mexico. I'm just letting everyone know in case anyone is interested.

I went to their last game last week against Olympia, and i had a blast. I am planning to go to the next game against Guadajarra. The new Brazilian guy from DC United is going to be good.

I saw the first game against olimpia (in honduras) on tv. considering most other club teams are in top shape, and this is "preseason" for us, we looked really good.

Go support D.C. United when Chivas (Yes the Real Chivas from Mexico not Chivas USA) comes to play in the Semifinals of the CONCACAF Champions Club Cup March 15 at RFK. The stadium will be packed with Mexicans so we need to make Sure alot of United Fans are on hand...

D.C. has won this cup before (in 1998) when they beat Toluca of Mexico here in RFK when Eddie Pope scored the only goal of the game...I remember that game like it was yesterday! time flew!

OK bad news...D.C. tied 1-1 with Chivas tonight (behind a MASSIVE support from the Chivas fan)...basically that means DC is out becuase there is no way they win in Mexico in the Away match...

Nah, they don't play again until sometime in April. I can't remember the exact date but i'll let you know when I do.
