I wonder if Wright still has pain in his shoulder. I'm thinking YES.

Hernandez is likely going on the dl w a pulled oblique as well.

    fun times.

Starting pitching, starting pitching, starting pitching.

Not to rub salt in the wounds but you know Rodrigo Lopez won last night in the NL and only gave up one earned run in seven innings.
“I just wanted to say to the fans … in D.C. and across the nation, they’ve been great for us, cheering us on. At away games they show up in the masses and at home they really made it feel like a home-field advantage. We said this when I was in college, ‘We got a chance to sit at the dinner table and experience success and it was a good meal. But now we want to go back to get dessert.’ We’ll be ready to get dessert next year.”

Robert Griffin’s last words at the press conference.

    Absolutely...

The Orioles should have gotten a quality starting pitcher this offseason and last. Bedard is not an ace IMO. A good pitcher certainly, but not an ace as I would personally define it. They addressed the bullpen but they still need starting pitching and another bat.

It's not just the pitching with this team, their offense is average at best. Outside of Tejeda, we really don't have an everyday threat in the lineup. And please don't even say Roberts, Mora or Gibbons.

At least our bullpen hasn't blown any games.

Wow, that was a stretch for a brightside.

I wonder if Wright is hurt, or is lacking the arm strength out there. I wonder when Hernandez and Payton, two everyday starters, will suit up. I wonder when we will have a bench that doesn't contain Bynum! And I'm wondering if Trachsel will be the next shoe to drop in our rotation.

Bedard WILL pitch better. Hopefully Dcab will get a little more luck and the rest, sadly, will be a crapshoot. If it does get that bad by the end of the month...Add Olson and Penn to the rotation and try and win some games. I A's did that not long ago with their staff and those guys did well after taking their lumps.
