He wasn't that bad, he was just off, and the umpire's strike zone floated, a lot, which was really frustrating. The first HR off Bedard was a fast ball at the knees and on the outside edge that the batter hit the other way, so he hit a good pitch, and then Bedard threw a bad pitch up and away to Hunter for a HR... they hit good pitches and bad alike last night so I don't totally blame Bedard.

They said he was best on the Orioles against him, but technically I don't know if there is someone who may be 2-2 against him, but Gibby was best on the Orioles vs him

As for the comment on Bako catching Cabrera... if Cabrera has indeed turned the corner then it shouldn't be a problem, if he hasn't then he may as well stand 10 feet back and try to dive on the ball on each pitch....

Bako looked lost after getting nailed at home plate. However, I did see Bedard shaking Bako off time to time.

Cab gets hit by a Castillo liner, but is OK.

Punto K's and Castillo steals second.

11 strikes to 5 balls. Looks like D-Cab has the strike zone so far.

Inning was extended 3 pitches when he didn't get the 2-2 call on the black.

I'm going to have to break down and get the mlb.com pass so I can watch the games. Darn MLB sticking it to inDemand.

Nice to see some longballs after a dry spring for the O's.

Boof Bonser looks just like Sid Ponson out there. long delivery, that pause with the arm down, reliance on the 2 seam, etc.

1st and 3rd and no outs, Cuddyer hits a bullet to Miggi who makes a diving stab at the hole to turn 2. 2-1 O's, but Miggi just killed what could have been a big rally.

2-2 Twins on a grounder back to Cabrera that bounced off his glove. Killing himself with that since both runners were on via the walk. Should have been an error, but called a if hit.

In Cabrera fashion, he gives 1 walk in the 6th and strikes out 3. Overall I'm happy with Cabrera's pitching thus far.

Tyner walks, steals second and Bartlett gets a smashed bat single over the if.
