The NFL draft is drawing near and the Cowboys have begun the process of scrutinizing their draft prospects up close and personal.

NFL teams are allowed to visit with 30 prospects at their facility prior to the draft.

-The Cowboys announced their 2007 preseason schedule. The four-game schedule is highlighted by Dallas hosting the defending Super Bowl Champion Indianapolis Colts in a nationally televised game on Thursday, Aug. 9 on Fox.

With training camp returning to San Antonio this year, the Cowboys will open preseason play with two home games, the first featuring the Colts on Fox. The following week (weekend of Aug. 17-18), the team will host the Denver Broncos. The Cowboys will travel to Houston (weekend of Aug. 24-25) and to Minnesota (between Aug. 30-Sept. 1) to close out the preseason.

Fox will televise the Cowboys' game against Indianapolis, the other three games will be broadcast by Blue Star Media in the five-state region of Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico and Oklahoma. Those games will be carried by KTVT/CBS 11 in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area.

The question is, will Wade try to win the pre-season games and tip his hand with regular season schemes. This is often a mistake made by coaches during their first year with a team.

I doubt it, Wade has been around a while. I expect we will see vanilla from them during preseason.

One can only hope, with the combination of Romo, Wade, and a lack of any real starting RB, the Cowboys will be a disaster this year.

I hope wade is easier, because Parcells was hard to beat.

I wouldn't count on it,his more aggressive style likely will force more turnovers and plays for a loss.
Of course being aggressive tends to open up the big play...but that was killing them anyway
