Default Is anyone else playing Ghost Recon 2...???

I just got it this weekend, awesome game...
My 360 gamer tag is code0rama (the 0 is a zero).

I've also got call of duty 3 which is awesome as well.
    Another post down the drain...

Call of Duty 2 was the last good game in that series.

I just bought it for Pez with the $10.00 off coupon I posted here last week. He likes it but says it is harder than the others he tried.

Tell him to use his teammates (and cover). It's much less of a run 'n gun game than previous versions for GR.

You have it the wrong way round. GR1 was the only authentic GR...all the rest are pretty much made for the armchair warriors.

I should know...I used to do GR in real life.

GRAW 2 doesn't involve the use of muskets (or white flags), unlike your stint in the Italian Army.

Most versions of GRAW are set in the future with HUDs integrated with drones etc

I doubt it was him as this is the first time he has ventured to online gaming. He loves the game Halo though so no telling.

How do you know I was in the Italian army Sisy? You're right, I was...

Though I'll tell you one thing, at least we used the old 7.62 ammo for a while when I was there, not the puny 5.56 the rest of NATO adopted right from the start. And call 'em muskets if you want, but the BM59 was basically an M14...and Force Recon and Rangers use 'em as sniper weapons...which is basically what they are...scoped or unscoped they were very accurate. The only thing I didn't like was because of the heavy calibre and the rifle being long you had a lot of recoil so you really needed a pistol grip...which was alright because being in a cav regiment we had the para version with the pistol grip because of limited space on tanks. But I also took the infantry version on operations...still not a bad weapon.

By the way, the French are the ones with white flags, we just wore our regulation white boxers and waved them about if we got into trouble.

I worked with the Italian Military in Naples for 3 years. Their unions
were a pain in the behind. We had guys say they could not work
shift work because it was bad for thier health and then thier
    unions would get involved.
