Is that good enough for the Hall?
He currently ranks fifth all-time in career attempts and completions, and is seventh all-time in career passing yardage

Funny, in doing a search, I found an argument as to why Bledsoe won't be a hall of famer.

I agree with his points. While he put up some great stats, he never was able to lead his teams deep into the playoffs no matter where he went. A talented guy who never was able to put it all together.

good career. Not good enough for the hall.
If you will recall, it was Bledsoe, not Brady, that won the AFC Championship in Pittsbugh to GET to the Super Bowl where Brady won it.Originally Posted by Torresa

Quit being Redskin homers and Anti-Dallas. Of course he's good enough for the Hall - at least from my perspective. We need some more unbiased thoughts in this thread. He's gotta ring, he's high on how many of the records list, what more would you need from him besides having worn the B&G?!Originally Posted by Torresa

HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!!!!
Bledsoe was on a lot of fairly talented teams, but could not lead them to the promised land. He also could not hold a starting job in NE, Buffalo or Dallas. I think the HOF voters would call Bledsoe an accumulator.
Funny thing about that article, it used Vinny Testaverde as an example of another player with stats who never really won anything. I could see him get in long before Drew. That man was on some horrible teams with NO OLine, yet still racked up impressive numbers.
This thread is pretty much without B&G goggles. Bledsoe threw the ball a lot, and piled up stats. However, he had many chances to win the big game, or enter the big game, and couldn't. My view is if a player who helped get a team to 4 super bowls with impressive stats is not in the Hall, a QB with just one super bowl loss to his credit doesn't deserve to be either.Originally Posted by PSUHeckler
If I remember correctly, his ring came from Brady stepping in pretty early in the season.

I'll say no to the HOF. His career was lacking style. He was a stat compiler. I'm actually pretty sad to see him retire at 36. I was hoping he'd catch on with another team.
