    Default Rumor Mill:(LaRon Landry related)

    Jets' Sked, NFL Rumor Mill

    • Atlanta is taking a hard look at LSU safety LaRon Landry but will have to get ahead of Minnesota at No. 7 to get him. Look for Washington to be a potential partner. The Redskins could still get the DT they need at No. 8.

    Yes!

This'd be an amazing trade! If the FO is smart enough maybe we could get one of their 2nd round picks. But I'd do it for their 3rd which would be equivalent in terms of the draft chart value!

Why is it that the damn Jets website gets it but so many others don't?

Screw that. Hold pat at six and draft Laron "The Laundry Cleaner" Landry

Thatd be sweet, allthough I dont know what we would get for moving down 2 spots... a third? I really doubt it would hurt our position at all though, so why not?

Would much rather have Okoye and either a defensive end, safety or guard in the early 3rd round.

    'Man on fire' Stoney26?

    Loved that film.

As for the above, well we could still get Branch/Okoye/whoever at 8 i guess. Heres to hoping its true.

you get more based on teh fact that we have shown interest in Landry, therefore Atlanta needs to offer more than they would usually do to "take" Landry away from the skins. Its not always the draft position as far as who is going to be available when teams pick

You are right, they do and I don't know why more don't. But OMG I wish they would create longer pages. A six page article? Sheesh.

Anyway, I think that that trade would be sweet. We could still get a good D-lineman and maybe pick up one of Atlanta's second rounders to maybe snag another D-lineman. We may never get another oportunity like this again.

Hmmmm. Well, there's no chance we'd get the #8 AND a 2nd rounder. I still think getting a 3rd rounder might be out of the question, but I suppose it will depend on how badly Atlanta wants him.

But I'd be all for it. Good news.

If Adrien Peterson does fall past Cleveland and lands at 6, we could theoretically trade with Miami, picking up their 3rd in the process, and then at 8, trade down with Buffalo at 12, picking up their third. Whether or not Okoye/Anderson will still be there, who knows.

    No, they can't.

We're on a Redskins owned MB, and even THEY can't hear me.

Didn't the Lions get a 2nd rounder when they flip flopped the 6 and 7 picks with Cleveland in the 2004 draft? Browns took KW2 and Lions drafted Roy Williams.
