What iritates me is when the political posters come into an OBVIOUS joke thread and either try to turn it into a political discussion.

For example, in this thread, which is obviously about getting drunk for cinco de mayo, AJ and Oakton come in and about celebrating a Mexican holiday.

That is the worst. Every thread does not have to be political or religious. Its the manipulation of the thing and how people always feed into the original de-railer that kills the thread. Damn buzzkillers.

It's either deception or self-deception. I have no problem admitting that I trend liberal, that's not an all-encompassing label, but I don't shrink from it either. There's no shame in being what you are or sticking up for what you believe (unless you're a racist, Nazi, Pedophile, rapist, or Republican)

Thing is, I love debating with Republicans, especially conservative Republicans not because I want to know how the enemy thinks, 99% of conservatives are not my enemy, but because by really digging through all the different perspectives, reasonings, and insights I get so much closer to a good answer. Mostly, we want the same things... we just have different ideas of how to get at them.

Blind Party hatred is also a good irritant to add to this list.
