XBOX 360 vs. PS3

360 and ps3 are going to bury the wii with all the games they have coming out this year

If that's you definition of good I guess. People buy the Wii for Wii Sports, Wii Play, Wii well you can see where I'm going with this and the huge library of Virtual Console games not to mention the new Wii Ware that just came out.

By your definition of good games anyone can say the 360 or PS3 are crappy because it doesn't suit their taste, and they wouldn't be wrong(yeah I know there are people out there). I on the other hand was commenting on system sellers. A steady stream of hits that gets a console recognized. You forgot Prime 3 by the way.

fair enough...... i won both the wi and 360.... today was the first time in MONTHS that i have [ayed the wii, well, a buddy of mine has one and ive dabbled with it a few times..... but yea, i played tecmo bowl for a minute.... the VC for it is great.... but having Xbox Live or the PSN are HUGE in a lot of peoples minds

I didn't include RE: 4 since its cross platform last-gen, but i guess you could consider it because of the new control scheme.

I agree completely about that. In fact if you got a psp you could play ps1 games via remote play with your PS3. I've been playing Mega Man Legends off and on in the car and at work thanks to that little application. And my personal favorite Live is a great place to play games with you friends, even though I don't own a 360. Everytime I'm at my friends house we tend to spend the majority of our time either on Live or playing Brawl. They all tend to have their strengths and that's a good thing.

just cus they sell the most units doesn't necessarily make it the best. Is the Camry the best car out there? The Wii is unique, the controller sets it apart, but most games for it aren't any good, and the few good games really don't make use of the controller. I haven't played SSB but hear it is better with a controller, Mario Kart I use a controller, Zelda was Gamecube game ported to the Wii. The best game for the Wii (that uses the Wiimote) is the free game that game with it (Wii Sports). I have a Wii and I never play it, except I bought Mario Kart. But the PS3 and 360 definitly have better games to my taste.

well, considering that almost all game critics are ****ing graphic whores, who gives a ? really, they find a way to rip every wii game, and it comes down to graphics. the wii is a great system, it really is. reviews of the games are worthless. you just have to play them.

Game Informer is an objective magazine that covers all the basis. Basically because the Wii is selling so well(due to it being inexpensive) publishers are putting out **** games to try and get a piece of the pie. I don't think it'll ever take a turn for the better, nor do I think Nintendo cares. You can't win of platformers forever though

Perhaps because of the cost? Sure as hell doesn't make it the better system, and DEFINITELY not because of it's games

The market does not support your opinion. The price differences are far smaller than at launch, and yet the Wii continues to destroy the competition. The simple fact of the matter is that the Wii appeals to a far broader base of consumers. Whether or not it appeals to YOU personally really doesn't matter.

REAL gamers go for the 360 and the PS3, casual gamers go for the Wii...... thats pretty much the jist of it... and for the record, id much rather really go bowling, play golf, for real rather than play it on a video game console

I know what you mean.. but if the console is easy to play but no games to play? poll how many people own a Wii and how many still play it. People play Wii sports and see how great it is to play tennis and bowl. They wait weeks finally find one, but it, play Wii sports non stop for a week then stop playing it.

The Wii's drawing point is a unique controller, and Nintendo's makes some great 1st party titles, but many games as i mentioned play better with a regular controller than the wiimote.
