To be honest, I wasn't that impressed with it either, but it was still fun to play online. I am getting GOW 2 just for the online.

xbox 360 has some great technology too, PS3 is better technology wise yes, but it is a gaming console, and each has great games. Buy a 360, it is win/win for gamers. Programming is the main thing behind a game, and a lot of programmers think that the ps3 and 360 will be even graphic wise going into the next round of consoles, which i expect as well.

Gameplay is what it comes down to in that case, that should eventually go to the ps3.

Personally, everything that I would want to play on the ps3 the 360 has, minus drake's fortune.

That is only one game though, so I can live without a ps3 for a while. At least until Little Big Planet comes out.

See that's the thing, I've never played online. Online Co-op was fun though. Online co-op with 4 players would be even better.

and as for metroid prime being different how so, because you use a different controller?
did i say it was different? or did i say it was a great game? i will say it isn't your normal fps. it's more of an rpg or action / adventure game.

as far as the other games you mention, it seems your standard for "greatness" goes down a bit when talking about other systems.

Killzone 2 isn't till Feb of 09 so that game should be really really good with the extra time they have to tweak it.

Fallout 3 is coming to the PS3 as well.

Folklore is a really good game. Very compelling story, strong visuals (particle effects are really good), and excellent gameplay.

Haze was a major disappointment. It's not as bad as the IGN review says but it failed to live up to the hype. If it weren't for multiple/lengthy delays it would probably score better but it doesn't look like they took advantage of the added time to tweak the game.

Unlike Haze, KZ2 looks like it will actually live up to the hype. The gameplay vids I've posted recently in this thread look incredible. The physics involved are mind blowing.

Fallout 3 should be really good, and do you know if Prototype is coming out on PS3?

Is Folklore a turn-based rpg or is it seamless action?

Prototype is being released on the PS3, 360 and PC.

Folklore is more of an action-rpg.

M$ is rumored for a while to have one in the works to be released this year. Be intresting to see games on a more powerful system with controller... but really still comes down to the programming
