I'm still waiting on my copy, but I find that hard to believe. If you've played Heavenly Sword, you'd find it even harder to believe.Originally Posted by gca61087

Don't get me wrong...what you read and heard about the game's length is true. It's short as hell, but it was one of the best games I've played this year and I'll definitely be playing through a second and third time. It had an epic feel to it that was different from the game it's frequently compared to, God of War. It's one of those titles that really showed off what the ps3 is capable of, much in the same way Gears of War showed off what the 360 was able to do.Originally Posted by Reic

Have you played Ninety Nine Nights on the 360? That game flew under the radar BIG time, and was awesome. Facing 1,000s of baddies at once over and over again is oh so goodOriginally Posted by cyfar
Reason why I bring up Ninety Nine Nights is because that is the game I think it should be compared to, God of War is more of a hack and slasher.
Ninety Nine Nights was incredibly redundant. And I hated that I couldn't advance a certain character past a certain point.Originally Posted by Reic

Why? It's basically an online expansion game. Yeah it's massively popular for a good reason. But it's not the end all be all of gaming. Far from it.Originally Posted by gca61087

Okay, you got the same thing going on with Heavenly. The only difference is the work that was into the story and cut scenes. Heavenly Sword may have had a larger budget and the Andy Serkis' (Gollum from LOTR) work really set this game apart for me.Originally Posted by Reic

Yeah that did kinda suck, you could only go so far with one and then start on another. Was still fun while it last, thoughOriginally Posted by Mufumonk

I downloaded the demo. thought the demo was fun to play... you vs hundreds, but noticed seems like it could be repetative and boring soon. So I got my fun out of the game by playing demo a few times and not buying the gameOriginally Posted by Reic
The 360 sold 93K 2 weeks before Halo came out, and 103K the week before Halo 3 came out. Compare that to 30K and 27K for Sony in those two week. The week numbers for the week Halo was release won't be released until next week. But I am guessing that that spike and Halo release is not a coincidence.Originally Posted by DariusCyrus

Rumor, continued: $399 PS3 to launch November 16th

The $399 PS3 "rumor" won't go away. And for good reason, too. The evidence clearly shows that something is going to happen ... soon. While most rumors from "industry insiders" we'll shrug off, this one from ars technica has caught our attention. Why? Well, ars technica is certainly far more reliable than some other rumor-mongering websites.
