    Default Nats vs Cards

I can't believe they have a rain delay...top of the 9th....6-8 man on 2nd....tieing run at the plate...2 outs...why not let them finish the inning instead of rain delay. I mean why did they wait so long for the delay?

Watching the game it looked as if the rain finally became unbearable to play. They let them play in it for so long because it looked like the nationals had no shot and they just wanted to get the game over with but the nats came back and the rain had become unsafe to play competitive baseball anymore.

yes, I watched the whole thing. They played in a downpour for awhile just trying to get the game in but the rain got too heavy. Thank God the Cards' bats are waking up finally. StL could win their division if they just hover around .500 until Carpenter and Mulder come back.

Why was Chico removed after just 4 innings and 68 pitches?

My guess is maybe he got too stiff through the rain delay.

Eh, the Cards pitcher kept going.

Whatever...we're up a run. Lets hope our bullpen can close them out these last three innings.

Nats go 5-2 in 7 game road trip.

Now lets stay on a roll when we head back home!
