Police: Teen Offers Truck For Parents' Murder

LEXINGTON PARK, Md. -- Police said a Maryland teen is accused of trying to hire a hitman to kill his parents, News4 reported.Detectives arrested the 16-year-old boy Saturday in Lexington Park in St. Mary's County.The sheriff's department said it set up a sting operation in a hotel room there after the parents somehow got tipped off that their son wanted to set-up the scheme.

The boy allegedly offered an undercover detective his dad's truck as payment for the murders.

They have had problems with him for about 3 years now. Run-ins with the law etc. They even had the authorities involved to help them. Just recently they released him from their custody to go live with a friend. The friends mom tipped them off.

still doesn't make sense. 9/10 when parents give kids a hard time, it's because they care and love their child. i can understand tension between parents and children, but arranging for death is cowardly and despicable. i can't imagine how shocked and hurt the parents are right now.

Some people are just plain ****ed up in the head; a chemical imbalance or whatever. No matter what the parents do or how hard they try to fix it, there's just no way around it.
