hahahahahahahaha, nats fans invaded Camden Yards? 5 people clapping in the bottom of the 11th with 2 outs in a 9-6 game is not exactly "invading"

But, but, but, I thought the O's were going to win game one, and then game 2? Looks like that 95 million dollar payroll is really paying off this season.

PS: We are only one game shy of matching your record as well.

Did I predict how the series was going to go? Nope.

And you act like a $95 million payroll is alot..Not when you play in the same division with the yankees and redsox.

Sorry, that was unfair. That wasn't directed exactly at you, I meant O's fans in general thought this series would have turned out differently.

20% Nats fans would be a generous assessment.

Tonight was a game of mistakes and the Nats got the biggest hit. I still don;t know where that popup went in the 11th and I still don't know where the strike zone went after that, (though I was in CF.)

How do you let guys batting .180 get on base?! Or hit a dinger!

Sammy P is just clueless when it comes to using a bullpen.

Hats off tothe Nats for getting it done.

Lookin good so far, sayin our first two matchups were good. The third game worries me. Anyway, we took the series.

Angelos and the O's should just give up.

I wish Angelos would sell the team already. The O's will never be good with him in charge. I want the O's to be succesful like the Nats will be in a few years so we can have 2 good baseball teams in our region and we can have a real rivalry. I hope the Nats break from MASN when the contract is up and start our own network. The games were better on CSN.

For all the Baltimore fans who say "the nats are the worst team in baseball".....Make sure that they include the O's among the worst teams in baseball......bottom line the Nats are a better team right now.....As a nat fan I now expect to beat baltimore everytime we play them...

The O's are one of the worse teams in baseball. But so are the Nats despite them beating the O's.

Yea but Nat fans never denied that or had false expectations about this team. in fact I am estatic about how they have played this season. Baltimore fans on the otherhand had this attitude in the beginining of the season that they were sooooo much better then washington and that this was the year they would turn the corner......Well we have seen thats not the case..........The nats are a better team right now then Baltimore evident by their record over the past month.....Baltimore is 11-1 against TB and KC and crappy against the other teams. thats not progress.

The Orioles are playing vastly under their potential, while the Nats are playing over their potential. Nats didn't have false expectations cause their cleanup hitter is a guy off the street and their rotation is a patchwork at best.

And I can understand why us O's fans were optimistic coming into this season. Our team last year had blown a ton of leads and we made attempts to fix that. We needed a little more power and singed a DH. We have a young RF ready to make the next step and a rotation that had the potential to be very good.

Injuries happened, inconsistancy happened, poor managing happened.

Hell, most of out lineup is UNDER their career numbers. And usually these things even out, just like one run games even out over the course of a year. There's nothing that says we can't go on another couple winning streaks and go back above .500.

Our much maligned FO found Guthrie, a diamond on the rough and Burres, who has also been solid. Markakis caught fire this time last season and Huff is a slow starter. Tejada's power numbers are coming around and Hernandez comes off the Dl in a week.

I just wish that we could have won more of the gams that we should have so far. Our manager sucks and I guess there's no way around that, failing a firing

And why bag on Tampa Bay? If they had a bullpen, they'd have a better record than the Yankees. Their lineup is a year away from being super dangerous and they have 2 front of the rotation starters in Kazmir and Shields.

Good news for all Baltimore fans, in spite of the impending sweep:

Citgo is giving away free Orioles tickets with gas fillups!! Get them quick and pack the Yard!

The Orioles have a lot of fan friendly offers. My fav, BTW is tonight: Mastercard Thursdays. You get a free Boogs BBQ sandwich with a Eutaw St reserve ticket.

They also have one of the best kids fanclubs in baseball.
