Default I know this is blasphemy, but what if JC gets injured?

I keep having dreams where I see JC get injured like 2nd game of the year. Brunell has to step in like 3-4 games while he heals. Would you guys still feel comfortable if Brunell had to step in for a few games? I think he'd do a solid job. The reason I mention this is because I keep seeing us play the Eagles on monday night and Brunell is there, and a few games after that its still him. I hope by mentioning it that it doesnt happen but yeah. What do you all think?

Then the playbook returns to two passing plays--

    1. Dump off to the flats.

    2. If option one isn't there, roll out and throw ball away

    Exciting!

Well, uh, it was a dream. I wouldn't think about it too much. I, personally, would be very uncomfortable with the fact that Brunell is our QB. No offense or anything, the guy is cool, but it just wouldn't work out to say the least.
And btw, good luck with the thread.

i think if jc gets injured you are going to be tarred and feathered at that eagles game for discussing your horrible nightmare with us and making it come true.

Sometimes I wish Brunell gets the job just to shut everyone up.

I doubt JC will get hurt, but anything is possible.

I'd rather see Palmer than Brunell

I doubt that you actually had a dream about this situation. Let alone several.

However, I would certainly hope that Brunell is competent enough to step in for a couple of games and get the job done.

Believe me, I cant believe I have those dreams. But its not like I think its gonna happen, its just something to think about (maybe). Last year I dreamt we started like 6-2 or something and we were well on our way to the playoffs, and we all know that didnt happen. Why are my dreams that specific? Who knows.

We will go back to Brunell. Easy enough answer.

Brunell should be good enough to limp us through a few games if needed, as long as he is healthy coming into the season, he should be fine with a healthy Portis and Betts, as long as the defense holds up and Brunell doesn't need to put big points on the board we should be OK.

I know what you mean man.....people can be a little too harsh on Brunell. He has done more good than bad for us, and has displayed an excellent character example through good and bad times.

I want Cambell to succeed and stay healthy but I know if something did happen I feel good having Brunell as a back-up

Bramlet wouldn't have the timing, practice reps, and experience in Saunder's scheme. it'd be bad if Bramlet was when. A healthy Brunell = still a decent QB.
