Where is Tony Bruno these days? He's probably the best sports talk guy out there even though he's an unabashed Philly apologist.

As far as I can tell he's exclusively on XM. They play his show after Tony Kornheiser on the same channel.

Sort of went the way of Bob Edwards after the loss of Sporting News Radio.

Colin Cowherd is the gold standard for Sports Talk Radio today. I have been a die hard Skins fan for 17 years, but as an aspiring young broadcaster myself I have to let you know that what Colin said, he said for ratings.

"The Herd with Colin Cowherd on ESPN Radio" is the highest rated sports talk show in the country, and Colin is a smart man who has called the Redskins (obviously not the worst team in the NFL), "the worst team in the NFL."

This move was made due to slipping ratings in D.C. for Colin. Dubbed by radio insiders as a "ratings whore", Cowherd has made this move so that you will all listen to his show.

If you don't acknowledge Cowherd as a credible Sports Talk Host, you are simply misinformed. He makes wild statements regularly on his show for comedic effect. He is the best in the business, and I am not such a HOMER that I can't acknowledge outside opinions. As a man who knows Cowherd's style and motives, I find it insulting that some of you have called him a hack, or a clown.

I'm glad he was taken off in the Richmond market, replaced by a local guy who is much more easier to listen to than that guy. Sure beats trying to listen to the 2 worst national sports shows in the country during that time frame.

cowherd is a dip****. anytime i turn on the radio to his station all i hear him do is cry.

I am Skins fan. But, we need to be realistic ...

For the past decade, the Skins have been more hype than anything. They have constantly inked high profile players with fat salaries, and who did not live up to their end of the bargain - i.e perform on SUNDAY!

Time will tell, whether or not this Skins team is special and has the swagger of the 80's team.

Hail to the Skins. May GLORY come to us soon!

Wilbon and Tony K don't deserve to be in there, in my opinion. They're pretty good at hating on the Redskins for the REAL reasons, and even when they hate on the Skins, it's not because of any pre-conceived biases. And, they criticize the Skins in an intelligent manner. They back their points up with facts, and they would have no problem with praising the Skins if the Skins deserved it.

I agree with you, and Tony (Giants fan from NY) is the one who started the bandwagon theme after the 1st game of the regular season (trouncing Detroit) that happened to be during the last Skins SB run. So I give him props for calling it pretty correctly so far.

Cowherd's content is horrid....but his voice is even worse. His bubblegum mouth voice is just painful to listen to. I cant believe he has a job on radio. I havent listened to him in months but im not surprise he dogged the skins.....he dogs everyone, everything....all the time.
