P.S on the topic of the trade deadline, I can't believe this team made no trades....way to go McFail.. I mean after the Tex deal was done, all I wanted this team to do was trade Trash, Payton, Bradford etc... and open up roster spots for say Hoey and Olson. They couldn't even get that done. They don't even need to get anyone in return, just give those people away..

I would want a really nice prospect for Bradford, who the O's need with Ray out a month.

Trading Payton means Jay Gibbons is your everyday Lf. You can still trade him closer to the Sept roster expansion.

Weiters won't be signed till the last minute. this was understood when they picked him.
