Default Ryan Clark vs LaRon Landry

ok, last offseason we screwed up with Adam Archuleta. But a lot of people were pumped that he was coming here, then when he sucked EVERYONE said "i knew we should have kept Ryan Clark".

So what i want to know is, do you think Landry will be better than Clark was?

I dont want Landry to be a bust (knock on wood) and everyone comes back and says "We shoulda kept Clark!" or Landry to be a star and everyone say "Ryan who?"

i think Landry will be better....what do you think?

Clark was what a 5th round choice.. Clark ceiling was to be a secondary safety meaning to assist the top safety and not screw up..

Landry has the potential to be a stud without ST and could be our safety for the next 10 years even if ST leaves

We should have kept Champ Bailey

Huh? I don't agree with it. He didn't want to stay here and we got a great runningback out of the trade? I liked Bailey, but the trade was good.

He would have stayed if we gave him his money...

    ill wiegh in the options...

#1 corner in the league or a good rb that is injury prone, while we have a very capable backup

im thinkin the #1 corner in the league

Injury prone? You must be mislead son. He was hurt once in Highschool and was not hurt in collage, and was not hurt in the NFL untill last year. You need to know your facts.

Not me, Clinton Portis carried the team to the playoffs. A cornerback can't do that!

A Happy, motivated Champ? Certainly. But thats not the Champ we would have been left with. He would have rocked in this defense

I was just thinking this the other day, but there's no point in living in the past. What I DO know is w/Bailey and Darrell Green a part of our history, we've had two of (possibly) the top 5 CB's to ever play the game (too bad that Bailey didn't end up spending his entire career here like #28 did).

Moot point. Bailey was gone- he wanted to leave, we were just able to get something out of him. There was no way we could've kept Bailey, it was more than the money, it was the changing defense all the time too. He just didn't want to be here, period. Can't change history.

Deion was here too. Deion, Green, and Bailey...at their peaks together, that'd be unbelievable.

I wish people would stop living in the "would of, should of, and could of" land.

Our new season is starting, why not look forward to that?

the point about Bailey is spot on. there was no way he was coming back, so there's no way "we should've kept him". he didn't want to be here plain and simple

deion was past his prime when he got here tho.

concerning the thread, i fully believe that Landry will be better than Clark. As stated earlier, i think alot of Clark's liabilities get overlooked because he was replaced with someone worse in AA. If Landry doesn't end up being better than Clark, we're in trouble
