I got a text message from a good friend and fellow fan right after Suisham's kick. It read:
"Footballs are hitting goalposts. The season has arrived!!"
So very true.
So while everyone else is pondering other Redskins related matters, I am fixated on our infatuation with the "DOINK."
My "real" take from the game:
1. Thought JC looked fine. OL was poor. Jansen was embarrassing-- the most overrated Redskin in my lifetime.
2. Defense looked solid. Really impressed with the LB's.
3. Collins should move ahead of Brunell. It's time for Gibbs to just let it go with Mark.
