Default NFLTA and the last drive of the Gaints game

sorry if this's been posted already

    http://www.nfl.com/videos?videoId=09000d5d802ac350

but anyways, NFLTA ppl thought the playcalling was ok. They seem to blame execution and indirectly, Jason Campbell

    your thoughts?

I think we should have called the draw play on first down instead of 2nd and not spiked the ball...if it doesnt work then run the ball 3 times. But when it comes down to quick desicions at cruicial times its hard to call the best plays in a situation. I am not angry with the playcalling...I think we did good but could of done better.

    I blame execution:

    1) JC should have hit Sellers in the #'s & Sellers should have caught it anyways
    2) Betts was impatient and outran Sellers
    3) Hole was there, but Betts tripped over Sellers....

The Gaints? While you may have accidentally arrived at a new nickname for the Giants, at first I thought you may have been referring to the 'Aints from Nawlins.

The Gaints. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

People have really overreacted about this game. Yeah, it was a bad loss, but the great thing about it is that it was only week 3. What better motivation for a team to get back up then to have a bad loss? It's clear the Redskins weren't themselves in the second half, so we'll improve and move on.

I have seen that series in my mind many times. Thanks for posting the link. Just as I have thought, JC could have walked into the end zone on either 3rd or 4th down with a good fake and bootleg. 4th down was really open as all the Giants knew we were going left. The right corner for the giants, #28, has outside containment for a bootleg. He comes crashing down the line on both 3rd and 4th down. Know way is he able to reverse his direction to get JC on a bootleg. Oh well, shoulda, coulda, woulda.

I just overall the skins just straight up panicked. They got a big play and ran as fast as they could down to the two, and spiked the ball. When really they had time to run 4 no huddle running plays in a row.

I have always felt that Betts falls down way too easily and if you look at the 4th down play, he basically just falls down. I honestly believe had Portis been in there he would not have fallen so easily. Huge mistake Gibbs but god dammit please learn from it this time around.

Yeah because the clock would have been running, they would have been rushing, and probably would've believed the fact we were passing.

The spike gave them a little more time to think.

With a 17 to 3 lead at halftime, it never should have come down to the last series period!
