    Default Crowd noise on Sunday

First off - definately not trying to hate on ya'll who were at the game.

But from home, it sounded really quiet in the stadium. I'm not sure if it was the way the game was produced or what. Was this my imagination? I'm curious to know from those who were at the game, what the crowd noise was like. And from others at home - did you notice the same thing? Something seemed off to me.

It usually sounds pretty quiet on TV, its something with the TV mic placements

From the false starts and what I was told, the place was decently loud

I got the opposite from watching the game at home, I sounded louder than usual to me. This girl I work with went to the game (I don't know why, she's a Giants fan) and said it was LOUD.

Yea, that's what confused me. I saw the false start, so I assumed it was loud. But it just didn't sound as ferocious as it usually does. Even at home on TV. Normally you can tell when the place gets rock'in. But this one seemed flat. I guess maybe we'll chalk it up to bad mic placement.. was worried there for a moment..

From 402, it was a helluva lot louder than usual. Towards the end of the game half of the stadium had left, which is dumb because we're the Redskins and it almost ALWAYS comes down to the end. I'd say a quarter of the attending fans missed Rogers's INT and half missed the sack to end the game.

While they were there, though, it was LOUD even though I lost ten pounds in sweat.

Number one, who cares what you thought it sounded like on television. If you weren't at the game then you don't really have much reason to complain to the people THAT ACTUALLY SHOWED UP, do you?

Did the league ask them to turn the speakers down?

Yea, there's no way our stadium was still quiet with 34 points going up on the board. On the radio broadcast, I was actually shocked to hear the fans actually singing Hail to the Redskins, I've been trying to get them to do that for years.

I can say that the section I was in..was loud when appropriate...and quiet when need be! I believe I yelled the loudest!.. I love this team!

We sang HTTR after every score! Beautiful!

It should be very obvious that TV crews try to reduce the amount of crowd noise broadcasted, particularly when you have 40,000 people chanting "Hey, you suck!" during every kickoff.

My impression from watching the game on tv was that the 12th man was doing their job quite well and they all deserve a thank you.

Settle down partner. Who's complaining? Go back and re-read what I posted - starting with the first line. Just wanted to get a beed on the crowd since I couldn't make the game. I'm sure you're a great redskins fan. And go to lots of games. Good for you, and keep up the good work. HTTR..

3 false starts and 1 forced TO b/c they couldn't hear......explains it all.

Kitna looked confused alot yesterday, not sure if it was scheme, the heat, the noise or the beating he was taking or a combo of that....but he was clearly off his game.

    What section was that?
“Hey, about an hour ago, all right, their [defensive] coordinator [Juan Castillo] told us, told [offensive line coach Chris] Foerster, that [if] the Giants would have lost last week, they were in the playoffs,” Kyle Shanahan said. “He didn’t mention that they had to beat us today. **** him, **** these guys. In 2012 the Redskins are gonna be the NFC East champions, and that starts right ****ing today.”
