The top 5 Reasons why we have a shot against the Patriots!!

I would like to share to everyone,my top 5 reasons why I think we have a shot against the Pats!Now come on people......We have a game to prepare for and we are gonna WIN!

#5)In all 5 games we have played in,we have had the lead at some point in the game and it usually was within a 10 point spread....(with the exception of the lions game,which was more than 10 pts)....This had conservative written all over it, by protecting the ball and not letting Campbell make any mistakes to lose the game....Some would call it lack of confidence in the QB,but I would call it "not letting the game get out of control" by having Campbell make mental mistakes in his young career!With as powerfull of a team we are facing...2 things are bound to happen..1)we are either going to be playing from behind,therefore Gibbs will have no other alternative but to open up the passing game....or 2)we will be playing conservative like we always do because we are still IN THE GAME!I believe either option may offer us a chance to win with the talent we have here!

#4)Belicheat is gonna have to steal some film from the 91 team...He has never faced Gibbs in a REG. season game...And the 1 time he did face the Skins,he got beat by Spurriers team before they went on that 18 game win streak or whatever!Oh....And remember when The Bills shut out the patriots right after the Pats traded Lawyer Milloy to them a few years ago....Do you remember who was coaching up the Defense in that game?Gregg Williams does know how to Scheme against the Pats and will do it again!Gibbs may have all of you pulling your hair out right now and may even be senile at 69 years old,but I wouldn't want any other coach (maybe Dungy) to have to face the Almighty Patriots!Gibbs will prove once again,that you don't have to have the same QB every year to win a big game (which will feel like a CHAMPIONSHIP) if we pull it off!Belicheat might be a great coach because he has a great QB,but Gibbs is a great coach because he makes(or develops) a great QB!

#3)If anyone has the overall secondary to beat the Pats or even just hang with them...it's us!And i believe it will take just that to maybe win!I know we didn't play particulary well against the Cards in the 2nd half and hope we improve our play....I think Smoot,Rogers,springs,macklin,Taylor and Landry can give Moss,Stallworth and Welker fits...I also think we can gameplan for Watson with our talented Linebackers in Fletcher,Rocky or whomever...I sure hope they are all healthy enough to play cause we may need them all to win!what makes our Secondary special is NOT because they play Man-to-Man real well,but because we have a very physical style of play they may put fear into their WR's...So believe it or not?The key to winning this game might be our success in stopping their running attack and/or our ability to put them in 3rd and long on many,many series!I also think the less the Patriots are in their 2:00 minute offense all game the better off we will be,as it did NOT look good against the Cards at all!If we make the Patriots play our brand of football,then we win this game...PERIOD!Lock it up!

#2)Maybe all their fans will be at the Boston VS Colorado World Series game and it will feel like there are more Redskins at the game...hince the 12th man!! I sure hope so!

In all seriousness....I think the turnover battle will be the defining moment of this game....I know I'm stating the obvious for every game,but this will be crucial if we are to establish momentum at all!As we all know the Patriots are a very well disciplined team and don't make many mistakes as proof to brady's 2 INT's all year and 27 TD's...If we can get 1 or god I hope 2 turnovers in this game,then it will be very interesting...We have been much better this season as to last year at causing turnovers...We may not be getting all the Fumbles,but we are causing them ...which is big!Taylor has been snagging everything this year and I would love for him to grab another!

#1)And the #1 reason we have a shot.....Nah.....#1 reason we will win is because Jesus is on Gibbs side who has a lot of character and a humble man who doesn't quit and will find a way to beat you,even if it isn't pretty....

Satan has to be on Belicheat's side cause Satan is a Liar and a cheater and will do anything to deceive you....

Patriots are 7-0 and look invincible....Washington in the hunt but are sitting at 4-2 and trying for that Lombardi!

And for a quote in Hoosiers..."and David took out his slingshot and slung it and hit the Philistine in the Head as he fell to the ground"!

It's not just a game this Sunday...It's good V.S Evil and it's about to collide once more next sunday at 3:00 pm!

...and it's 3 days before Halloween!This game is gonna be SCARY!!

Prediction=Wash 31 V.S. Pats 28 in OT!

I'm still a believer that the Redskins can, and will win against the Patriots. My only concern is can our offense, with its injuries on the front line, score 24 to 30 points? If so, then, yes, we will win.


It's going to be very interesting to see how our defense play against their offense. Will we blitz or just let the front four do their thing?

Well, kurt warner put up 280 yards. I hope that was a fluke, otherwise tom brady will put up 647.

taking Moss out of the game will be huge... I know ST is up for the task... I believe the x-factor will be checking Welker... he is faster than all 3 of our starting CBs... also linebackers covering the underneath well.. Brady, Vrabel.. those guys are always open underneath.. DLine apply pressure ... especially in the 2nd half... NE's Oline is laden with veterans and cohesiveness...we must make them wither

I have that feeling too and can feel the upset coming. I hope Brady tries that Lob deep to Moss cause Taylor will be all over it with a pick and that will be that. The other thing i like is that we are gonna have to open up the passing game. I doubt we will be able to play conservative and be in this game. If we can, obviously ill take it, but i really feel we are gonna have to throw the ball around more than we have all year.

The redskins will not beat the patriots. But it's not as bad as it sounds considering that no one will beat the pats. BUt seriously, we had barely any pass rush against Kurt Warner and we're lucky he couldn;t do more damage then he did. We really havent been a big pass rushing team. But if we let brady sit in the pocket, he will pick our d apart all game.

We also have no match up against moss without exposing stallworth and welker who both are great players ...especially if brady has time to look for them.

Your defense might of been able to slightly slow em down but you downfall is again lack of O. You know the pats will score, & you need to as well.
