Will Portis ever go over a 100 yards?

My question is, with the right side of the offensive line decimated with injuries..........lack of consistency with the offense and WRs to open up the field..........and the dual back system the Skins are trying to employ...........will Portis every go over a 100 Yards?

He hasn't gone over 100 yards in 10 games. Ever since the Jacksonville game.

Even his inability to run mad and utilize the "stiff arm" to break off defenders has him look mediocre sometimes.

Don't get me wrong, I love CP and hope he has a good season..........but do you think he'll get over a hundred yards in a game?

I'm not sure. My guess is yes, he will. Probably not more than once or twice though with the O-line injuries.

Yeah, once they fix the O-line we will see the old CP.

Yeah that was my thought. I can't blame Portis on the ineffectiveness of the running game, because we had significant injuries on the OLine.

But the schedule doesn't get any easier, and we'll be playing some serious defenses.

And with Big Mike Sellers getting involved in the offense adn running game more, who knows if he'll ever go over a 100.

He will get over a 100 once the o-line situation is better. Don't worry....they are still winning without his 100 yards per game.

No, he will not go over 100 yards behind this o-line. Maybe we should put Sellers behind him to keep Portis from tripping over his linemen's leg.

Yeah if our OLine was intact, Portis would probaly be at the top of the league in rushing yards.

With a beat up offensive line & sharing the ball with 2 other backs I would tend to say no - he will not be going over 100 yards anytime soon.

He will have at least 3 100 yd games this season. I don't know when but he will get them.

i really dont care as long as we continue to win games. i dont think we have a good enough line right now for him to get over 100 yards without a huge run

Portis appears to be on the downhill slide. he doesnt have the burst of speed he once has and he is no longer illusive. he is not worth the salary cap hit we take for him i think this could be his last year as a skin
