"When you're winning, fight like you're losing" (Rock Cartwright Thread)

I love Rock Cartwright. I really do. He's starting to become my fav Redskin. I think all those things that Gibbs says about him are 100% spot on. All this man does is be a vocal leader and take the opportunities given to him and run with it (no pun intended). Cant be a starting running back? Thats fine, he'll just be one of the better return men in the league. When the team is down? He always speaks up.


Anyway, whatd you all think about the shirt he made saying
"When you're winning, fight like you're losing?"

And more imporantly, are all these motivational tactics by the team gonna work?

ive always liked rock myself hes been a hard worker since day one and hes a hell of a special teamer...them are the type of core guys you need to win we need a few more rock cartwrights on this team

How are we supposed to know if a sentence on a shirt is going to be enough to motivate a team?

As for what I think about it, I think Rock Cartwright is downright phenomenal just for that. He knows how everyone has been feeling after having their asses fed to them on a platinum platter, and he takes it upon himself to try to lift everyone out of the gutter by making an inspirational shirt. Kudos to him! If anything, it'll hopefully help the team dust off the mountain of dirt New England dumped on them on Sunday. They'll need just a bit of that to cling to their skin though to remind them of that embarassment and have them "fight[ing] like [they're] losing" during the Jets game, the Philly game, the Dallas game, the Tampa game....

That is what he means with the T-Shirt. We've led at halftime in six of our last seven games. Meaning we should be 6-1 right now! When your winning fight like your losing!

Rock has fought all of his football career.

He wants to win so badly......and when the Skins lose.....you can see the pain on his face, in the way he walks, and the sound of his voice.

He has been like this for years.....long before the SKINS knew who he was.
