Before I get started on the Eagles, one last comment about the Jets game. The Redskins were favored by 3.5 points and only won by 3. That means the Jets covered the spread. The Over/Under was 35.5. The total came to 43, so that means it was an over. My last prediction before the game was 23-13. I won the over/under but lost the pointspread.

My Thoughts on the Eagles Game.
The Eagles lost to Dallas 38-17.
I wish I saw this game. Is Dallas that good or is Philly that lousy? This was a home game for Philly. I am not sure. Romo was 20 for 25 with 1 Int and 324 yards. The Redskins are at 5-3 and this is a home divisional game. I believe the Redskins are a littler better than the Eagles at this point. McNabb was 27 for 46 with 2 Ints and 250 yards.

I don't think anyone fully realizes how important yesterday's victory against the Jets was. This 3 point victory against the Jets erases the 45 point loss to the Patriots. The Redskins also beat the Dolphins. The Redskins are 5-3.

I see exactly how this game will play out. The big story with the Redskins is that they've completed 0 TD passes to a wide receiver. This will continue through the Eagles game. Gibbs is gonna run run run. I look for a low-scoring conservitive game against the Eagles.

The Pointspread is Redskins -2.5 and the Over/Under is 38.

Of course I wanted the Redskins to win. I was thinking with the Jets starting a new QB he would bring something that had not been seen on film by the skins and win the game. I did take the Jets to cover the spread so I won that one!!!

Sounds about right but after all these are the Eagles and these games are very hard to predict. If the Skins can get that running game started early like their chances.

I wish man, I wish but given what you've seen so far... we are half way through a NFL season... What makes you think this team is even capable of opening it up?

Hell they don't even know what IT is so I don't see how the hell they can open anything up.

I have no idea who will win this, but I can be certain to tell you this: it will be damned ugly.

I'm worried about Westbrook out of the backfield. Between Rocky Mac and Landry, we didn't have great coverage on the Jets RB, and Westbrook is probably the 2nd best coming out of the backfield (behind Bush).

But McNabb looks vulnerable, and I expect our defense to pick up a couple of turnovers.
