Will the game be televised in Breezewood, PA?

I'll be in Breezewood, for deer season.

Do any of my fellow ES'rs know if the game will be televised in that area?

It's Steelers territory. I know a couple of bar restaurants in the area, but one of 'em is a little too far to drive from where we'll be staying, (Quality Inn). The other place is a serious redneck bar, with a couple of small TV's, where I caught the San Diego game a few years ago.

Hell, I'd settle for listening to them on the radio, but I think that's unlikely. One time, back in the late 80's, I caught the game in my truck, but that's when we were good.

I know that it's unlikely, but I'm putting it out there, just in case.

i checked tvguide.com and looked up listings for Breezewood, and they have the Vikings @ Giants listed as the game on FOX for that area. The FOX affiliate listed is FOX 8 in Johnstown/Altoona.

Hey SkinsFan. I was just out that way not too long ago during opening day, and I ended up having to go to a Hooters to watch the game. Any sports bar should have the game on.

Sport bar is your best bet. it is Steelers/Giants country there

I did not know people actually stopped in breezewood for something other then gas or because they were forced off the highway there. I know there are bars in Altoona but that is an hour away. Maybe bedford one exit west on the turnpike will have something.

on a similar note anyone know the best place to watch in Altoona/Hollidaysburg, PA? I will be up there for one of the games this year.

Make sure to try 100.3, you may be able to catch that station up there. My father and I drive to Altoona every year for family reunions, and he used to listen to that station constantly when it was an oldies channel. We still were able to pick it up in Breezewood. Now that the Skins own it, that might me your best bet.

Woah woah woah there...I didn't say I was from Altoona, I said that's where my family reunions are. A majority of my father's family is from Altoona, but I am Washington born and bred sir. If I was from there, I'd most likely be a Steelers fan. As it is, I wasn't able to escape my father's influence with the whole Penn State thing. I also dislike a sizable portion of my family, but that's a while different story.
