When Champ Bailey & John Lynch asked the NFL if they could wear the #27 (Darrent Williams #) during the Pro Bowl, the NFL said "Nope" But know how CP is, he may just wear an actual Taylor jersey and pay the fine later. I remember when CP was here in Denver and he showed off his jersey collection. He made a point of owning a jersey of any player from "The U" so I know he has at least one ST jersey.

with the other team's cooperation they could do a ceremonial play where CP lines up at FS and they just kneel the ball. otherwise i wouldn't want CP on defense, tribute or no.

That's great CP is the man, It would be cool if he finished out the season as #21, then they retired it... dam it's going to be weird not seeing him out on the field anymore

not neccesarily. this might be a gesture toward CP, SM, and the rest of the canes for the rest of the season, then retire it. its a very hard subject, and Cp is prolly hurting the most right now.

People were looking for a way to honor Taylor similar to the USC team honoring their fallen kicker. I think sending #21 back at FS one final time might be a fitting way to do that.

I'd prefer it be retired, which probably wouldn't of happened during a ceremony at the beginning of next year anyway, but if anyone was going to wear it, I'm proud it's clinton portis.
