Default Did T.O. actually grow up !?!?

Great...Friggin T.O. seems to have grown up.

I have never heard him talk SOOOO much about OTHERS !

He compliments the coaches (Even the damn position coach !!! When did he last do that !)

    He loves the D

    He loves ROMO..

I HATE DALLAS !! This is a bad thing !

So all it took was the right coaching staff...

Of course we don't know what he would be like if they were losing...But what came first the chicken or the egg ?

... or it just took him to be at the near end of his road and his chances at a ring are getting small

just wondering if anyone had asked TO on his thoughts of Taylors death. They always seemed to meet on the field.

Well maybe he read the most recent Sports Illustrated, where NFL players voted him the easiest wideout to intimidate. Figures he should scale his mouth back a little.
Q: Are you surprised by the lack of production by the back-ups on the offensive line?

Vinny Cerrato: "Are you talking about all the sacks and stuff?"

I remember when things were going swimmingly in Philadelphia. The nation was on the verge of turning their opinions of Terrell around and I was driving that bandwagon. Then came the losing...

I feel like Owens has found a better-suited home for his personality and that goes a long way toward mellowing him, BUT- don't be fooled by the winning TO. Nobody will turn traitor on a winner but Terrell Owens will go cut-throat on his teammates if they stumble for 2-3 games, whether it be this year or in the future and nobody stays on top forever. He WILL show his other face when he's not happy and feeling the warmth of the spotlight.

He's the co-best WR in the league along with Moss but neither of them is a very cool human being.

No - Prior to the GB game, the NFL channel was doing a pregame show on Wednesday night -

Talking with TO they asked how he was preparing for GB; he smiled that stupid smile of his - opened his mouth- and said, " I don't have to prepare for GB, they have to prepare for me"

Since I don't like TO - this might be a common statement, but I took it as his ego is overloading his mouth again

speaking as a a cowboy fan that doesn't like TO, I think we have to wait and see. Like others has said, we've seen this before in San Francisco & Philly. Don't want to see us lose but let's see what happens when this occurs.

That's your key sentence. Character is truly exemplified and comes out during the troubling and difficult times. It is easy to be humble and supportive when your on top like he and Randy Moss are now. Look what happen to Moss in Oakland, leaving the game early ect.. It still amazes me how someone can complain after going to the superbowl (TO in philly). I think looking at people like Santana Moss, Steve McNair, and Sean Alexander: these are stars having a difficult year but are not disrupting team chemistry or are not shooting their mouth off every other game. I would venture they are showing quality character.

I posted this on another thread, but ESPN's Mort eluded(during the Boys' coaching search process) that if Norv had become our HC, TO would have no longer been on this roster b/c after going through with Michael Westbrook, Albert Connell, and Randy Moss throughout his long(and tormentous) coaching career, he didn't want to put up with another head-case.

With that being said-my opinions on TO are still mixed. No, I'm not buying that he's a "changed" person(He's my age, and to say some of my "bad attitudes" have CHANGED-quite frankly, I would be a flat out liar). No, I DIDN'T welcome the move when we came here last year, and my feelings are STILL mixed.

However-I'm nonetheless still going to give the guy props-if he weren't in the lineup, we would probably be 6-5, b/c he changes the personality of EVERYTHING. IF Jerry had done a much better job in the draft with the WR position, we wouldn't be in this situation(even a Donald Driver would be a significant upgrade in this O), but that's a different story. IOW, you just have to take the good if it outweighs the bad.

Umm...I would say at 11-1 I would be pretty happy too. When he is on an 11-1 team he might not be so mad about not having every pass thrown his way. When he drops a sure TD catch and it turns into an INT...he might be a little humble in the post game.

This same scenario happened in his first season with Philly. They were winning, and he was happy. Eagles fans (most of them) were equally duped into thinking TO was changed. It's not like he was a rookie last year and has now become a veteren. This is not a guy who behaved like a child and then started maturing. TO has been TO throughout his entire career.

If the Cowboys meet the Pats in the superbowl, and the Pats do to Romo what they did to McNabb....then lets see how TO reacts. If the Cowboys aren't 11-1 next season at this point, lets see how TO reacts.

11-1 cures a lot of problems.

Yeah !! Ya'll are right. It's about the winning.

I will stick to hate. He is a cowboy...Which is reason enough.

Ya just gotta hate this ROMO punk as well. I keep wanting him to be a flash in the pan...But DAMN...He makes some nice throws.

If we can get our crap together....This rivalry is gonna be great again.

I do think we can be that good.We are close.

He looked fine in Philly as well.

    While they were winning.
I’ll tell it to the hot, tell it to the cold, tell it to the young and tell it to the old. I don’t want no laughin', I don’t want no cryin', and most of all, no signifyin'.

....actually he became disruptive after the superbowl, before the next season even began. I've always believed that this was TOs last chance on a winning team and last chance for big money. Money will be an issue this offseason cause he'll be entering the final year of his deal, but I expect Jerry to reward Owens.
