Press Release: Redskins To Honor Sean Taylor On Sunday

REDSKINS TO HONOR SEAN TAYLOR ON SUNDAY

Ashburn, VA – The Washington Redskins will honor the memory of safety Sean Taylor on Sunday prior to kickoff against the Buffalo Bills at FedExField.

Following the team warm-ups at 12:40 PM the Redskins will begin a pre-game tribute to Taylor. Included in the tribute will be a four minute video that honors Taylor’s life and playing career. In addition, the Redskins will hold a moment of silence following the team’s introduction and prior to the National Anthem.

All fans attending the game will receive a towel that bears the #21 and Taylor’s name will be displayed prominently in the East End Zone of the stadium.

In addition, please note that in honor of his memory there will be no sales on Sunday of Sean Taylor merchandise at any Redskins stores including the Hall of Fame Store at FedExField.

Also please note that the Redskins Park offices will be closed Monday as the entire organization travels to Miami for Taylor’s funeral services.

I was hearing on 980 that they wanted all fans in their seats by 12:15. Just want clarification on when I need to be at my seat......I dont want to miss a second of the tribute to our fallen warrior.

Does anyone know if they are gonna show this tribute on TV? I don't know if they'll show it on CBS during their pregame show (though it might be a slight possiblilty). Perhaps they can show it in a possible extended kickoff show in Comcast Sportsnet? That would be cool...
