Not really one for reality TV, but this looks pretty damn good (and by good, I mean trashy) and intriguing. Anyone else seen the previews?

How reliable are lie / polygraph detectors? That's the first thing I thought when I saw this.

(Figured I'd give some of the regulars around here the evening off.)![]()
FREE THE HOG!!!
Soon to be followed by Primetime spin-offs on:
ABC: "I LOST my way and now I get an apology"
NBC: "You're the biggest loser, but I still love you son"
CBS: "Kid Nation: 20 yrs later and you still haven't won a gold star"
Who actually screens these shows?
This is just another show that I would never want to be on. It could be retitled, embarrass yourself and dishonor your family for money!
Besides, as someone else pointed out, lie detectors at their best are sketchy. Mix a lie detector with greater and greater stress (as you near those exciting numbers) and the liklihood of a false positive increases big time.
I thought that was the scientific name for ALL reality TV shows.Originally Posted by Burgold
On a side note, I call for a ban on all "reality" TV gameshows. Survior is the first one that needs to go. What was the last one? Survior China? A country that supports a GROWING population of now over a billion people for thousands of years. And it was suppose to be ahrd for 16 people to live there for 40 days? give me a break.
What's next? Survivor: Holiday Inn, Casper Wyoming?
