I see what you're saying and I agree. It's time for Manny to man up and demand the fight. Nobody wants to see him fight Cotto or Marquez again or even Bradly (which would be interesting). There's only one fight the world wants to see and these bozos can't get it together.

If not Mayweather, which wont happen, I would prefer to see Pac fight Bradley. Bradley has earned his shot, even if he can't draw 10 people to a stadium. He is clearly the best 140lb'er in the world right now and would present a different challenge that Manny hasn't seen in his last few fights.

Bradley ran from Khan why does he deserves mayweather or PAC? Also the guys last 7 fights have envolved his opponents with huge cuts from his gigantic head, if I am PAC or May there's no way I fight him.

Bradley deserves the fight because he's the best reasonable option left, particularly for Pac. I agree he should've fought Khan, but I wouldn't go as far to say he ran from Khan. He called out Khan plenty over the years, Khan & Goldenboy only responded when it was looking likely Bradley was going to sign with Top Rank. Bradley essentially had to make the decision of fighting Khan or signing with Top Rank for the opportunity to fight Pac.

His headbutts annoy me as well and I wouldn't blame either fighter if they chose to not fight Bradley because of them, but on credentials he deserves the Pac fight. He easily beat Peterson, who Khan struggled with despite the shady ref. Nobody wants to see Pac fight Cotto again, and Cotto really hasn't done anything to prove he deserves a rematch (it's not like the first fight was close). JMM is always an option, but we've seen that movie 3 times already.

Mayweather announced he is fighting Miguel Cotto on May 5th. Pacquiao is expected to announce his next opponent (Timothy Bradley most likely) for June 9th soon

Thats better than the Canelo Alvarez fight that was rumored. I don't mind seeing Cotto get one more big payday before he calls it quits. He won't win that fight though.

Looks like it will be fought at 154lbs so Cotto won't be drained any.

In my opinion, I don't think the Pac/Mayweather fight will happen. Arum is really ruining the chance of this being one of the best fights we all have been waiting to see. I knew he wasn't going to fight Pac on May 5th.

I'm actually looking foward to May/Cotto. At 154, Cotto does have a chance.

RingTV.com has learned that WBO welterweight beltholder Manny Pacquiao and WBO junior welterweight titleholder Tim Bradley have agreed to terms for a clash that will take place on June 9 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Last week, RingTV.com reported that Top Rank CEO Bob Arum was to meet with Pacquiao's adviser, Michael Koncz, and Bradley's manager, Cameron Dunkin, in an effort to finalize terms for the bout.

Arum, Koncz and Dunkin convened during meetings in San Antoio, Tex., where Arum was promoting Julio Cesar Chavez Jr's HBO-televised unanimous decision in defense of his WBC belt opposite Marco Antonio Rubio, and Nonito Donaire's made his 122-pound debut with a split-decision win over Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. for the WBO's vacant junior featherweight belt at the Alamodome.

The Pacquiao-Bradley agreement was not made, however, until Monday, and it comes in the wake of WBA junior middleweight beltholder Miguel Cotto having been chosen last Wednesday by Floyd Mayweather Jr. as his May 5 opponent.

I'd like to see Lamont have another shot at Bradley.

Supposedly Lamont's next fight is at Jerryworld vs. JMM.

Seriously? It will be interesting to see just how many of JMM countrymen fill that place.

On a sidenote: I wonder if Mayweather and his followers consider Cotto a "Pacquiao leftover." I just couldn't resist.

Again selecting Cotto as May's next opponent is after carefully watching enough film to select a slower opponent who has a name well enough that will draw a crowd and leave millions disappointed. I highly doubt Mayweather stands and fights or even remotely resembles his 4 round exhibition against Ortiz, he will get on his bike like he did against De La Hoya and easily out box Cotto to a snooze fest of a win.

The best of boxing is when we get the unheralded fighters on regular HBO.

ESPN.com's Dan Rafael is reporting that there is a signed contract for a rematch between WBA/IBF Super Lightweight champion Lamont Peterson and former champ Amir Khan.

The bout will be held on Saturday, May 19 at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV.

    More as this develops.

agree 100% although I do think Cotto should go hire some of the guys who trained Oscar for that Mayweather fight. Oscar fought a hell of a fight and would have beat Mayweather if he was still in his prime. If Cotto can go in with the same game plan Oscar had (cutting off the ring) and forcing Mayweather to fight, he could shock the world.
