She doesn't do anything by accident. She said what she did so that 'liberals' would get all outraged and then she and her supporters could then say 'Emmanuel said retarded once and Obama made a special olympic joke once so you are all a bunch of hypocrites! HA!'

    She's so darn clever.

In the meantime some of us who live in the real world and don't spend our lives using regular folks as pawns in our petty little bouts of verbal jousting have to actually raise kids with mental handicaps, actually have bad days where our kids are screaming for no reason or get sent to the principal's office for something they can't control or understand or both. Some of us, who live in the real world, wouldn't mind it if she would just shut the hell up for like five minutes.

Bah. I really didn't need to read that today.

i am not cool with calling a woman a "trash can" or a "skank", therefore there is no option on this list i'm willing to select.

I'd volunteer to apply some topically, right from the source.

    So is she serious?

"Look, no one would refer to a Down Syndrome child, someone with an actual mental handicap, by saying ‘retard.’ Where do you think the words ‘imbecile,’ ‘idiot,’ ‘moron,’ ‘cretin’ come from? These were all technical terms at one time. ‘Retard’ had been used colloquially to just mean ‘loser’ for 30 years,” Coulter insisted. “But no, no — these aggressive victims have to come out and tell you what words to use.”

She sounds like Michael Scott, in that one episode where he outs Oscar as a homosexual in Season 3.

She's seriously interested in making more money from angry conservatives who want to be told how they are being oppressed by political correctness.

She'd probably die of a heart attack, eating a big meal like that.

Seriously, Micheal Moore? Coulter is at the point where she just comes off as a hateful, sad, angry bitter scorned person. Calls the president a retard then gets snarky at a special needs person who was offended. At some point a person simply becomes classless.

After reading this, I am tempted arrange having one delivered to her office from The Palms in NYC, daily.

Second Avenue Burger Danish bleu cheese and smoked bacon--All Palm SteakBurgers are made with 12 ounces of USDA Prime Beef. Served on toasted sesame brioche with seasoned hand cut French Fries, lettuce, tomato and onion.

Ooh. Blue cheese on a burger.

Reminds me of a place when I was at GWU, that served them that way. Those were some seriously good burgers.

Ann Coulter Finds Herself Snubbed As Fordham College Republicans Rescind Invitation

The campus chapter of the College Republicans at Fordham University in New York last week invited Ann Coulter to their institute for a speaking engagement. Unfortunately for Coulter, when University President Joseph M. McShane, M.J. caught wind of her pending visit, he immediately addressed the University in a campus-wide email.

McShane chastised the group of student Republicans for inviting Coulter to speak on campus and to pay her with student fees. Coulter recently tweeted that Obama is a ‘retard.’ She also tweeted that Clinton agreed to speak at the Democratic National Convention as long as Obama agreed to carry his bags.

    McShane:

“To say that I am disappointed with the judgment and maturity of the College Republicans, however, would be a tremendous understatement. There are many people who can speak to the conservative point of view with integrity and conviction, but Ms. Coulter is not among them. Her rhetoric is often hateful and needlessly provocative—more heat than light—and her message is aimed squarely at the darker side of our nature.

As members of a Jesuit institution, we are called upon to deal with one another with civility and compassion, not to sling mud and impugn the motives of those with whom we disagree or to engage in racial or social stereotyping. In the wake of several bias incidents last spring, I told the University community that I hold out great contempt for anyone who would intentionally inflict pain on another human being because of their race, gender, sexual orientation, or creed.

’Disgust’ was the word I used to sum up my feelings about those incidents. Hate speech, name-calling, and incivility are completely at odds with the Jesuit ideals that have always guided and animated Fordham.”
McShane said preventing Coulter from speaking would “counter one wrong with another,” and made clear he would not forbid the CRs from having Coulter at the Jesuit University. By that time, Fordham CRs had already rescinded the invitation to Coulter.
