And it looks like many people on this board are beginning to figure this out.
In the wake of this weeks sudden and catastrophic exposure to disgusting comments made by Seahawks fans all over the nation, lay many scarred minds on ES. But many of you should've known this by now. The internet is a jungle. From girls eating eachothers **** to videos of people dying, to those absolutely sickening offensive comments made on other forums and youtube. If you didn't already know, in the dark corners of the internet hide the most hideous of monsters. You enter at your OWN risk. So, as a result, it obviously isn't necessary "to cry to mommy" every time you see something that upsets you. I tell you, some of the things I see written make me want to bash somebody's ****ing face in. They make YOU want to bash somebody's face in. Unfortunately, such a thing isn't possible. We don't know who they are. Even if we did, it would all be in vain. You can never stop it....they always come crawling back.
I remember, for a project regarding WWII and the Nazis, I went on youtube and watched some history channelesque documents on the subject. Some of the comments written beneath the video were some of the most horrid, despicable things I'd seen. But I didn't bother to post anything. What can you say? You can unleash your thoughts on them but it does nothing. It's their opinion, and just as firmly as you believe in yours they believe in theirs.
Unfortunately, the internet is a place of anonymity and freedom. You can say what you want with no consequence or retribution. It's a place where we can get an idea of what the human race would be like in the absence of law and order. Thankfully, here at ES, some kind of order has been established...so here's to you all.![]()
But you gotta hand it to the journalists. They go out on a limb. This guy, McGrath, who wrote that whole exploitation article....is a clown. You know that. I know that.
One problem though.
He doesn't know that. I scroll through the thread and read about different responses that people on ES have sent to him, and I wonder why? I ask you....what is your goal? I'm just wondering....I guess maybe it gives you personal satisfaction. No sense in sending him a hateful message because then you're being hypcritical....and a nice, well thought out message would be fine but it wouldn't do your emotions justice.
I was this close to sending him an email as well....but then I thought "ok, I'll hit send, he'll read it, maybe respond....then what?" He gets a piece of your mind and moves on. Maybe he actually gets scared that a skins fan will recognize him in the street and beat the **** out of him, idk, but my point is that in the end nothing really has changed. This is just personally how I feel about it. It's the same with those punk ass posters over at the seahawks board....you can throw a fit on their board but in the end, nothing has changed.
Hatred is a brewin. I feel it, you feel it. Hate is in the air, everytime I look around.
Yes, RELEASE YOUR ANGER
well no, dont actually because that would contradict everything ive said in this thread....just try to accept it. its so much more chill over here at ES and we shouldnt let those damn seahag fans get our panties in a bundle.
