    Default Hooking up Wii to the internet via Wireless..

    If anyone has had any success with this, please PM me or post here.

    Got one for my son for Christmas and we have wireless but it gives an error message and i am sure i am doing something wrong.

    You have to go to Settings and choose a wireless network.

    The most common problem is your wireless network channel.

    Put it on Channel 1 and it should work.

    Channel 1 or 6.

    We have a Linksys WRT54G router and the Wii found the network and connected to the net flawlessly. Sorry couldnt be more help..

    Make sure your wireless router is in range... I had no problem setting up mine, but for my father in law it did not work because his wireless router is two stories above and was simply unable to be seen by the Wii.

    Thanks guys. I switched it from Channel One to Channel Six and it picked it up right away.
