OK, I try to post different autograph events... instead of having separate threads, I thought I would try all in one.

John Riggins, Darrell Green, Jason Campbell, Brian Mitchell, Mike Sellars, Doc Walker, Chief Zee, the Redskinettes, & Randle El will be at the DC Autoshow. I'm going wed, and thursday. Wed I'm going to get Ric Flair to sign my belt and Thursday I'm going to go early to meet C.Bulter and then get J.Campbell's and Sellers auto on my helmet. I knew about this already but I'm going to call first to see if Jason is signing any item or a stupid eastern motors picture! Like Darrell only sign's an auto trader pic that he gives you which sux but it's always nice to meet him.

Anybody know Riggins' deal? Will he sign anything (specifically a football) or does he only do some sponsor photo? Also how tacky is the auto trader Darrell Green pic? Could I cover up the auto trader logo by framing it with a mat and just show the autograph on the d green pic? Thanks

Looking forward to it. I got Campbell and Cooley's autogaphs last year, it was great and they were willing to chat for a second and Cooley took pictures with people.

It always changes year to year... my advice would be not to buy something special for them to sign.. take whatever you want to get signed and just see. I have seen where they advertised a limit, and the guy signed anything anyway. I have also just seen guys set up, that were not advertised on the site.

I also went up there several years ago for Sonny, but when he got there, he said he would not sign autographs, he would just talk to people.

Last year I think the only people who signed certain pictures were people that were there with Eastern MOtors like Randle El and Portis. Campbell and Cooley would sign anything, Campbell they limited to 1 item but he game you an autographed picture as well, and Cooley signed a few things for everyone.

Don't count on the same thing happening twice... it almost always changes, (depending on the contract the player signs that year), but sometimes for the better. It would not hurt to go with a couple extra mini helmets or whatever you collect... you may just see someone set up who is not advertised.

The big trick to the DC show is be flexible and plan on standing in line... that is definately a benefit to something like the Paul Krause. You know you can get whatever you want signed.

I even saw him after one of them, and it was only me and one other guy and he said "If I sign for you I have to sign for everyone". I guess two people was too much of his time. I'll still try at the auto show but I'm not hoping for much.

I have heard he was good about signing during his radio show when he was in Virginia Beach. I am sure he gets asked everywhere he goes. Just be persistent and you will get him... or you can pay the bucks when he does a paid appearance.
