    Default iPhone bluetooth compatibility . . .

This is for anyone familiar with the iPhone, since I know there are a few people on this board that have experience with the phone.

If I were to switch to AT&T and get an iPhone would I not be able to use my Jabra bluetooth headset when making calls?

I can't seem to find any information on this and I really don't want to shell out more money for another bluetooth headset.

Mad Mike or any other of the resident Apple guru's don't have an answer to this?

Yes you can use that headset. Apple does support bluetooth headsets.

I usually use macrumors.com to double check as I don't have that particular headset, I went with the Apple one, but it should work just fine.

    Hey,

As a JMU Alum 06', first let em say lets go dukes!

Yes I have been very happy with my iPhone. I bought it the day it came out. It does leave some things to be desired but I love the upgradeability of it. Everytime a concern has come out iphone has released an update for it soon after. I currently run mac computers so having an iphone that syncs perfectly with my calender, and itunes is great.

I think it depends what you are getting it for. I hardly use it as an MP3 player. Mostly I use it to surf and check scores when out on the town, address book/calendar organzation, get maps and weather, and have a movie or two should I get stuck at an appointment somewhere.

I think if you have Cingular and want to combine most of your devices all in to 1 it is a great device.

I have AT&T and I've been due for a new phone since August. I was hoping for another price decrease of the iPhone in 2008 or an iPhone nano, but alas they just released a software upgrade.

I might spring for the burgundy Blackjack II now. I just can't see myself spending $400 for a phone. I can do $100, though.
