How long until you ask someone to be your girlfriend/boyfriend

I have been dating this girl for almost a month now but techniquely we are not Bf/Gf yet. In my past realationships I usually tried to move things along a bit quicker but I really like this girl and I dont want to scare her off by rushing things. So my question is how long should I wait to make things official? How long does everyone here wait?

I think it depends on the woman. If she is confident and goes after things she wants, then she will let you know. If she is reserved and likes it when you make the first move, then you need to make the move.
