That thread is a riot...I'm not sure what was funnier...the dude getting busted or the fact that the original poster went through the trouble of making a stick figure drawing depicting the incident.

Fred Taylor is a nice pick. Great value at this point.

the whole "fragile fred" moniker is bs and the only reason it has stuck is b/c both words begin w/Fr. I've had him for a number of years and he's been no more injury prone than other starting RBs and more durable than a ton of them.

thanks MCM @NFLFever2 for the sig

true, like i said his age was the big deal to me. not so much the injuries. everyone gets injured. but he's not getting any younger and he's got a real talented kid breathing down his neck.

I stayed away from him because of his age, but I agree, he's not as injury-prone as some make him out to be. On top of that, I truly believe he's one of the most talented RBs to ever play the game. He's big, fast, can catch the ball, has great vision, and he can juke your socks off. If he didn't get injured earlier in his career, he probably would have been hailed as the best RB of our generation. I mean, he's already got 10,000+ yards.

Old Fart Fred might be a more suitable nickname than Fragile Fred. Someone call the NFL and tell them.

The only thing I'll be eating is a plate full of CHAMPIONSHIP!

(Yeah I know that was lame, but I couldn't think of a good comeback.)

I imagine it'll be better than your Scrubs Championship...

however, the nickname "fragile fred" worries me a bit.
yeah, the whole fragile fred thing is a joke. i looked through his stats. and since 2002 he hasnt been bad at all.
    02 - 16 games, 1300 yards
    03 - 16 games, 1500 yards
    04 - 14 games, 1200 yards
    05 - 11 games, 787 yards
    06 - 15 games, 1100 yards
    07 - 15 games, 1200 yards

he only hasnt gone over 1000 yards 3 times in his career, and one of those years was the year he only played in 2 games before going out for the season. but i said two rounds ago that if he was still there, i was taking him. then i was going to take selvin young in the next round, but some punk stole my idea.

saw shaun alexander go off a few picks before me so i figured it was a good bet. with seattles inability to run last year and moving to a pass happy offense. jax is a northern style team with the two headed ground attack and no passing except when needed. so with with MJD there, taylor should still get more carries and more yards at least for a season or two.

Uh huh...well I have a rule in Fantasy Football, never put myself in a position to worry about another man's crotch.

    Enjoy the groin!

EDIT *Dammit, I can't believe there isn't a single picture of Fred Taylor on Google Images lying on the ground and grabbing his hamstring.
