Knowing everything that's been discussed do we want to change the IDP points or not? league vote?

Let's figure that out first and then we can work out the draft.

as long as its in before the next pick. but with TR, there were picks made after his. so thats in the books.

i see three options...
1, chuong changes his pick before the next pick is made
2, chuong keeps his henry pick and the changes in IDP become official starting in the 9th
3, since TR was the first pick of the round, if he wants to change his pick, then we just redraft round 8 all over again.

Edit: I'm not saying this because I'm being a douche...but I was seriously considering taking a defensive player with that pick even without the new rules we are trying to implement. If I knew about this before, I probably would have taken a defensive player.

if we are voting. i vote for using the standard yahoo scoring that you posted. use that for the first season, everything the standards. then we can vote to change stuff later on after we see how it works in action.

it was in response to yours. I don't have a problem w/re-drafting the 8th since you are the only 2 that made picks. but I'm just 1 goofball out of 12.

That sounds great kur, although I'd keep fumbles recovered and INTs as the same number of points (2). But everything else looks perfect.

Edit: I can't remember, but are we having return points count for D/ST as well, or only individual players. I think I remember we were having them for both, but I could be wrong. In any case, if we are having return points count for D/ST, then we should have them be consistent (1 point for 30 return yards).

i never went back and looked. they are the only two picks. and they both want to change due to the new IDP scoring. im fine with that.

pause all drafting until we settle up on the new IDP and D/ST points. then just redo the 8th round.

just so you know, those DT points allowed scoring parameters are not "standard", we jacked them around to help DTs score. I was just using that as an example.

thats cool with me. i just copied that straight from stosh's post a couple pages ago. then took out the forced fumbles. 2 points seems more of a standard to me anyway. since ints are -2 against qbs, so it should be 2 for a defender.

We are not giving return yards for D/ST, only for individual players. (including offensive players)
