yeah I had Tate and Butler on my list for this pick... now I need to rethink things...
again if anyone would like this pick let me know... I am looking for a team DEF or DL...

haha. yeah. i woulda picked up tate in FA, didnt want to waste a pick on him since hes gonna open up on the pup list most likely.
and grant was one of my targets when i picked laurinaitis. but thought id get more production from a LB guaranteed for at least two years. and he didnt have any exp i could find from college as a returner.
when will FF allow us to edit rosters??
now that im done with the draft (i think), i was wondering when we would know more about the FA process.
1-what will be the format? feeding frenzy, i guess? autodraft didnt get great reviews. real draft might be too time consuming.
2-so, when?
exactly.
until we open up free agency, just keep everything straight in the roster thread.
this is why, for the long run, you should keep a couple of those draft picks a year king. When you don't draft, you have no rookies and no 2nd year guys. Those are the only guys who are eligible for our practice squad. Right now, as it is you have no one eligible for the practice squad. Your youngest guys are 3rd year players.
It's something to think about for the future (you too Nut, you old bag). The Practice Squad (it's called the "IR" on flea flicker still), is a beneficial tool in the league that you should use to your advantage.
New guys, if you have read up on the PS rules, you should. It will be to your benefit to know which players and when players can be moved around on the PS.
the reason for getting rid of my draft picks was bc i dont know **** bput the college players comin into the nfl so i wouldnt know who to draft, who has upside or value...
i used my ps lasy yr but and they were all skins playerz on the squad
real draft wasnt time consuming. we had like 10 out of 12 people online for it, in the chatroom. i flipped the switch and said 'go'. and it was over like 10 minutes later. thats not really time consuming. just means everyone has to be available at the same time.
pick is up... sorry it took a while guys...
Patrick Turner, eh? I remember a few years ago when he was supposed to be the next Mike Williams. I think he was supposed to be the top recruited WR in the nation. How the mighty have fallen.

when i said a real draft, I meant a live draft in order (im not sure what order-random i guess). to go quick, everyone would have to be online, and have a time alotment for each pick. or, we could do the FA draft like we just did the rookie draft, no time limits, a couple picks a day style.
it sounds to me like you're describing the feeding frenzy. which is cool and all, just not what i was referring to.
if we do go the live route where everyone is online at the same time, whether its for a draft or feeding frenzy, i would really like to know ahead of time. i have an on call schedule that is set for each month. when im on call for my job, there's a strong possibility that i would not be able to log in for the draft.
Therefore, I could let you guys know what days the rest of the month that I am not on call, or you guys could let me know what day in July you want to do it, so that I can make sure to have that day off when the july schedule comes out, which is in a week.
