So, we disagree on Evans. I think his stock is rising. Okay.
We, disagree on Breaston, I believe a large part of his production was due to injuries to other WRs. Obviously, I like him long term, but we disagree on his production this coming year. Okay.
I understand these differences.
I think I know where the disconect is...
Normally, I wouldnt offer this advice because you havent asked for it. By challenging my trade logic in public, however, I feel I must.
If you want to compete (for the championship, and not the losing bracket), you need to consolidate your talent into your starting lineup (a la saleem last year- that's the only time you get a compliment, saleem).
Lets look:
Portis
Ronnie/knowshon
Welker
Walters
Breaston/Steve smith of Giants
Clark
or
Turner
Portis
Ronnie/Evans/Steve Smith of Giants
Welker
Walters
Clark
The second roster gives you more concentrated strength in your running back lineup, which equals consistency. With proven RB depth, you'd be prepared for the predictable portis breakdown.
That is a roster that has alot better chance of competing for the championship, IMO.

thats assuming i would use your same logic in setting up my lineups. which i wouldnt. i dont even see what your logic is in either lineup...
and to put walters in my lineup as a starter and say its stronger is hilarious. that bum is too inconsistent to warrant a play other than when i have two WRs on the same bye week.
and i had evans at a #1 two seasons ago and he was a complete bum. so thats another reason i dont want him.
and for the record, if i want advice, ill ask for it. but that will never happen.
edit: and youre assuming id rather sacrifice my future, ie 1st rounder and knowshon, to 'win now'. sorry, im not dan snyder. i just like playing and the strategy. if i win a championship. fine. if i win the consolation bracket. fine. i dont care either way. i just play to play.

Holy crap, you muffins sure do talk a lot. Look, if you want a real preview of what's going down next season, go take a look at the ES baseball league. I believe Kur, Drop, f_trizzy and myself are in it, possibly more of you.
I'm handing everyone their faces. I expect no less when football season rolls around. 3rd place is just two swift ass-kickings away from 1st, and I feel like kicking some asses.
By the way CCFF, you are going in the Taken out of Context thread.
Funny thing about that baseball league. I hang around the top half of the league all season. Then Wieters finally becomes eligible and I plug him in as my catcher. Since then I haven't even come close to winning a game. Thats not supposed to happen when you have baseball Jesus on your team!
Of course it might also have something to do with the fact that I just noticed today that Mark Reynolds is one of the best hitters on my team and I've had him riding the pine most of the year.
Yeah Pho, but it's also two ass kickings away from being 5th.

...I agree with my fellow Senior citizen, Stoshie, that divulging trade offers is bad FF etiquette. Especially when one owner is still trying to move those players.
...but what should I expect from the younger generation? You young punks are ruining this country. Bunch of spoiled rotten, snot-nosed sons-of-bitches.
Obviously, you are unfamiliar with this particular ES institution.
Very well then, you'll find yourself on the last page.
