yeah i'm pretty much staying away from rookies. i looked at the FAs and didnt really see much anyway

So, right now we have 24 roster spots. How many roster spots will we have for the regular season?

I suggest we increase the roster size now in anticipation of starting 2 DLs, 2LBs, and 2DBs. Whether that is this year or next.

Kur if you still want to pursue changing the starting lineup for this year, are you okay with dealing with that after FA opens?

If you guys agree with this, it just leaves the question of what to increase the roster size to. I believe the change proposed would be adding 2 starting roster positions because we would then be starting 2DL, 2LB, 2DB. I say we add 3 roster spots at least because the more starting positions you have, the bench must increase as well. That would mean we would have 27 regular season roster spots, not including the PS or IR. Thereby, 27 would be the max number of players we could have at end of today, not counting any newly drafted players.

Edit- It would be good to know if we end up starting more def players this year, as that would affect my FA pickups but I thought we just wouldnt want to get sidetracked right now. But if there ever was time for vote on something, the chatroom would be the ideal time.

no, we have 30 spots now. its 24 during the season.

and i want the double IDP spots. thats how we voted on it before you got here. thats what it was supposed to be. the flex was only there was a placeholder until i was able to make rosters larger than 30.
but TDR apparently forgot all that and complained that if hed known, he would have drafted differently...

well i should clarify. it was voted on for 2LBs and 2DB, didnt do 2 DL cuz we didnt have a lot of DLs out there. so if its up to me, id change the lineups right now to have the 2DB and 2LB. but TDR objected even though its supposed to be that way.
