Ever hear of good behavior? I could kill you and probably would get less than two years in the slammer. No way Plax serves the full sentence for shooting himself in the leg. He'll be my #1 WR next season.

My other WR is driving drunk, hits someone in a crosswalk and kills the poor bastard...and is out of jail in 30 days. Plax shoots HIMSELF in the leg and is going to do 20 months??? I'm not buying it. He'll be a starting WR next season...might be for the Raiders or the Bengals but he'll be out. And even if he's not, then I got two bad ass mother ****ers on my team now...

Okay ladies, some advice needed. I'm in an 8 team draft...yeah, teams are going to be loaded. I've been hoping and praying for the 8th spot in this draft, and my plan is to go WR-WR with the back-to-backers. What do you guys think? I was planning on drafting something like a combo of Run DMC and Kevin Smith with my back-to-backers at the 24th and 25th picks.

We draft the Sunday before the season begins every year, so it'll be Sept 6th this year.

Not taking an RB with my first 2 picks goes against everything in me, but like FancyMatt said, if you don't get one of those top 5 guys, then there is a big drop-off to the next level. And by the time it hits me at the 14th pick, there will be another drop-off.

So I gotta believe it would be stupid to go with the best available RB at that point when you may have a Brees or Brady sitting there??? Even at the 14 pick AJ and Fitz will probably be gone??? Ugh!!!!!

Ours is the 6th as well...I'll be picking at 10 & 15 and colin is at 11 & 14. Not looking forward to that.

The thing everyone seems to be missing about this whole Plax thing, is that what this fool did could have ended much worse. The punishment in this case is in large part to make Plax realize that he's a dumbass for carrying a loaded weapon and shooting himself, but that he's damn lucky he didn't shoot someone else.

He'll do at least 12-16 months, bank on it. Carrying loaded guns with one in the chamber is no joke, and in New York nonetheless. That state has a hard on for gun stuff.

Of course it could have ended much worse you meatball. But when you get in a car accident, they don't say "well, we're going to nail you hard because you are damn lucky you didn't kill the other person...had you been going 30 mph faster they would have been dead".

Let me dumb this down for you Drop - since you seem to have a hard time comprehending this...here it is in short, kindergarten level sentences.

Donte had a little too much to drink one night. He did a very bad thing. He drove his car while drunk. He ran over a pedestrian. That person died. He did less than a month's time in jail.

Plaxico went out looking for ho's one night. He was carrying a gun. It fell out of his pants and he shot himself. Nobody else was hurt. He is supposed to serve 2 years.

Both were very stupid men. However, DONTE KILLED SOMEONE YOU FRIGGIN' MORON.

I gotta believe somewhere down the line someone is going to see this as an excessive sentence (personally, I don't think it is and I hope he does serve 2 years, but I know how ****ed up things are in the legal system). And if Roger Goodell, a hard ass if there ever was one, has already said Plax will not be suspended if he returns to play football, then I gotta believe he thinks like I do

Only in America can a guy carry a gun illegally and get more time than a man who killed someone else.
