if you make a trade involving a draft pick, then trade the pick on FF too. Who hasn't been doing that? Isn't that just common sense? I didn't know there was anyone who wasn't doing that. Unless i'm missing your point CCFF, lol.



And i was thinking about this illegal Practice Squad thing last night. When a new league member is making the find and calling out the errors, i think it's time to include some sort of penalty for having an illegal Practice Squad.

I don't think we need anything harsh, unless someone becomes a repeat offender. But we have to have some method that prevents the Practice Squad from just becoming a revolving door of illegal roster moves. Any ideas?

And the stuff that CCFF caught is fine imo. I see no reason to penalize anyone for that stuff. At this point, it's no big deal. But this is a problem that we DEFINITLEY shouldn't be having when we're heading into our 3rd season of play.

theres something in the rules about illegal rosters i think. if someone has an illegal roster during gamedays, ie when rosters lock sunday until they unlock tuesday morning, the person gets no points until they make it legal.

someone with illegal PSs should have the same thing happen. thought something like that had been discussed sometime last season, just never got officially enacted.

I think Manningham is becoming Eli's guy. Its not like Nicks and Hixon are superstar guys. I really like Manningham going forward. Eli seems to trust him which is always good.

Just a thought but, I do not believe we have a policy on trading draft picks on Fleaflicker.

Some trades include the FF picks and some dont. Traded picks are kept track of on the ES roster thread which provides consistency, but if FF can do it too then why not use them? You can trade picks one year and two years in the future.

I have not traded picks on FF yet but if other people are doing it I feel I should too for further consistency.

cuz FFs policy/settings on the draft are different from ours and cant be changed.

our draft setup is according to how you finish in your championship, consolation, loser bracket.

FF setup (which cant be changed at all, i tried) is set up like the NFL, with slots 1-10 being given according to record at the end of the regular season, and 11 and 12 are given to the champion and the runner up.

so after the season, both me and pho had to figure out the proper order that people should be in since the rankings on FF didnt accurately show how it should be according to our rules. then i had to go through and figure out all the trades and who they were for and which picks were actually involved.

so the FF trade log did help a little, but people should be using both. keeping a log in the roster thread, as well as making the pick trades on FF.

but i think there is a policy on it. at least there was last year. all trades had to be proposed on here and confirmed on here. then proposed on FF with all players and picks included. if they arent doing that anymore, then they are just losers that dont pay attention. lol

lol, wow, that's not a bad idea. pretty good incentive to not have any illegal players on your PS.

smith is in a fight for that i think. hes mannings safety valve when he needs a first down or a sure catch.

i think manningham is 2nd on the trust level, he just has better speed and more big play ability.

Yeah Hixon seems like he isn't going to have much of a role soon. If Manningham keeps playing like this, it would be real nice for me. Especially because I got him for Rashad Jennings.

I checked the roster thread, there is nothing about illegal rosters, be it on gameday or not. I did not write the rules, but if the rules state that only 1st and 2nd year players are allowed on the PS, then that should be the case at all times. If we have a penalty, it should apply at all times.

I for one am in favor of a penalty. Most people wouldnt do it if there wasnt a competitive advantage involved, and a penalty will offset that.

Mine is easily a much better picture on the eyes than either of theirs, ESPECIALLY CCFF's.....so what gives?
